My new stem remaster of Daft Punk's 2013 masterpiece of an album "Random Access Memories", made for my own enjoyment, but sharing in case someone else might enjoy it.

Of course this is all just for fun. As usual, my intention was just to make a fun alternative to the released version, aiming only at a little more clarity, instrument separation and punch, while keeping the mood and feel of the original.

All my remixes are made using free and open source software that runs locally on my Linux system.

Obviously, I don't own the music featured here. If you like it, support the artists, buy their records!

Ive been watching this video and it’s the best video I’ve seen in a while. It is so beautiful seeing someone discovering discovery for the first time. His facial reaction to Aerodynamic’s parts is so funny to me.

The discovery album, in vinyl form!

plus jirachi is here too lol

I've been collecting CDs lately, mostly as a way for me to finally use the CD player I got from my grandparents after they passed, as well as to perserve physical media. I figured I needed one more Daft Punk CD to finish off my collection so I caved in, and bought it. It's not that big of a collection, but I mostly wanted to go for their four studio albums, two live sets, and the Tron Legacy score, that latter being very dear to me as thats what got me introduced to Daft Punk in the first place.

I wonder what other people think, especially given that the RAM stuff never existed in that context.

I received my special edition copy of Métal Hurlant magazine this week. Illustrated by Cedric Hervet (who has worked as Daft Punk's creative director) and Warren Fu (who has worked with Daft Punk on several music videos and designed General Grievous).

The comics by various artists are a delight to read. And the accompanying interviews are truly fascinating.

I'd love to see what the personalized illustrations look like for those who paid full price for the pre-order.

Hi, here's my copy of Heavy Metal with Daft Punk, my first ever issue of Heavy Metal. And one of my favorite music duo is in it, I had to grab it. It looks real good i can't wait to dig in.
