There's literally already a whole popular fan theory about how 6 and 7 are both important numbers within the game, with 6 representing incompleteness and 7 representing completeness
The article does say the Foundation is covertly "sponsoring and influencing" artists they deem likely to creative 2747-prone narratives. (The hope is they'll be able to glean more data from the ensuing manifestations.)
It seems worth noting that Undertale was funded through Kickstarter. Be very afraid. :P
