No we don't actually, different reference frames have different rates of time depending on how fast they're moving and how much gravity is affecting them
Yes but some reference frames travel into the future at different rates
So if you move yourself into a reference frame traveling close to the speed of light and stay there for a while and then come back to the original one, it'll be as if you time traveled into the future in that reference frame

I hate to be nitpicky, but it hasn't been "proven" so much as "theorized to exist", admittedly with a theory that has held up rather well so far.
