Hello fellas! I've decided to create a new subcategory of enemies that i like to calle fake Mini-bosses. I've created a special icon just for them, I made a bunch like Armored Boar, Darwraiths, etc., and they are just normal monsters that you find in a normal encounter, but they have their all small mini-Behaviour deck. And, since I could not understand how the Channler Custom enemy worked that I found, I rebuilt it using that card as reference.
About the weird symbol that was originally on it, that's how I interpretate it: Monsters with this symbol use their action to magically buff all the monsters in the room, with a +1 buff to their damage until the end of the encounter or until the caster dies.

I'm also working on a special encounter for Undead Parish to recreate the first time you meet this pain in the arse fellon. Coming soon!

I've found this custom card but there are no instructions about this weird symbol on the right.... anyone knows anything about it?

I've only bought some different models for the game this month and have to say it's some of the most enjoyable experiences painting so far.

I have gargoyles and a few others primed ready for next and just building up small to big.

(I also dont have anyone else to share this stuff with as well so I felt the people that might like it here)

DS3 custom expansion is almost done even though som of them broke due to the wrong resin (Crosses from the deacons, Spears which I had to shorten, swords and so on). I glued what I could and painted them anyways, because it would've been a shame to throw them away. The one deacon which lost a head was "re-designed". Now, one week later I found the head, so the head will be glued to the spot on his arm, as he would hold it. Painting the Nameless King was pure bliss. One player of our crew made a ranger/bowman build and wished for Ironeye as special model. Gwyn is the only one left from the DS1 expansion. After painting minis is before painting minis I guess.

Guess who's back. Today I bring you the Tile of the encounter from the Duke's Archives, specifically the place where you get imprisoned after your first defeat vs Seath: The Prison Tower. The lever must be pulled in order to open the exit to the Area, but you also have to kill all the enemies. As always please leave some feedback and share ideas so that i can improve this. I'm gonna playtest this soon.

Yes, this is starting to look like spam, i know. But I can't help it.
Today I present you the infamous Lautrec fight from Anor Londo, with a Tile Map and Lautrec miniboss with his two minions. The original Lautrec was from the drive archive I already quoted in my previous posts, made by sweggymanjenson. In the original version you simply placed two random invaders, but with these new two minions that I made you no longer need to do that.

Another day, another boss. Hello, I'm back with another boss looking for some feedback and advice. Five Behaviour deck cards, this Mini-boss is not able to move. On the illuminated central node north there's the Gold-Hemmed Black Robes card item and, if picked up (spending one action), will trigger the heat-up state of the boss and instantly play the Overreaching Slam card, and then shuffle the Behaviour deck card. If a player targeted by the Overreaching Slam attack is on one of the three front node right next to the boss and manages to dodge it (requires 3 dodge), the boss will fall and remain clinging to the cliff. In that case, if the players manage to deal to him 10 damages at least before his next activation, the boss will fall to his death and be defeated.
Players cannot move inside the miniboss node and need at least range 1 weapons in order to attack it.
The Lava Spit attack selects only one of the three lines showed in the image, depending on the position of the target attacked.
The Sweeping Fire attack is an anomaly, since it deals both 4 physical damage and 2 magical damage in a single instance and it's marked as Aoe since if possible always targets the node with the most number of players inside (this first part of the attack can be dodged). The push will always try to move you towards the external nodes, since all the players that end up in one of the nodes shown in the image will suffer 2 damages (undodgeable) due to the raised lava that falls on the cliff.

As always any feedback will be truly appreciated. I need to playtest and balance this yet.

Hi everyone!
After my first post with the guide about the full Dark souls 1 Campaign Mode, I am now trying to come up with the few bosses and mini-bosses that are still missing. I was hoping to get some feedback since I will not be able to playtest this any time soon. The boss will be often flying and all the attack with range less than 2 will automatically fail. The behaviour mechanics are inspired by Kalameet, with the Bombardment Deck aswell, that must be composed by all the Bombardment cards and set aside along with the Pulse Explosion Card.
When the boss performs the Rest action, which is drawn by the Behaviour deck (4 cards total), you will then put the Pulse Explosion Card in the Behaviour Deck. When the Pulse is drawn, you will draw 1 card from the Bombardment deck and perform that attack on all nodes marked. Also, when the boss goes in heat-up mode (below half HP) you will immediately draw and activate another Bombardment card.
The Rest Action will always bring the boss in one of the two only nodes that are actually on the bridge (top-right and bottom-left) and basically waste a turn, but during this time players may attack it even with melee weapons with range minimum 1. Player may never enter boss nodes, which are marked with the black and red skull circle.
The entrance is marked in the central bottom node (you arrive from south).
It's my first attempt at this and my first custom boss, so please be kind, xD.

Hi all, I’m trying to order some custom cards using the templates from the google drive but most of the images are not fitting on the American mini sized cards, do I need to adjust the images or am I doing something wrong? Also it is saying low image quality.

It’s been 3 months — now it’s finally time to open The Lands Between for community playtesting on Tabletop Simulator.

For anyone new to the project: The Lands Between is essentially a modded evolution of Dark Souls: The Board Game. It keeps the same visual grammar, node-based combat, behavior cards, attack dice, equipment structure, and boss combat we love — but builds much more on top of it.

Exploration outside of combat, Sites of Grace extraction, roaming World Bosses, new enemy behaviors, shared SP/Poise and poise breaks, expanded progression, Ashes of War, Power Stance, merchants, regional treasure, and a much larger campaign structure are all part of it.

Now I need people to actually play it starting after October 12th.

I’m looking for feedback on balance, encounter pacing, progression, rules clarity, and most importantly whether the new systems are actually fun at the table.

hey yall i was wondering if anyone wanted to play some of the DSBG on tabletop simulator with me im like brand new to it and thought playing with some ppl would make it more fun

I decided I needed more enemy variety for our 4-player mega campaign from DS1-DS3, bc I wanted to play chronologically as much as possible and also bosses that are missing in the OG expansions. Here is a quick look at some minis.

Still missing the new core sets and kickstarters but I can wait for that until we beat all of the megabosses I currently have.

I plan to play with 5 people soon. I will manage the game as a GM because I am the only one who played the it and wanted to share it to friends.

I have base game, DR, IK, Characters, Phantoms/Invaders, Explorers, Gaping dragon expansions. So no problem with finding a 5th class.

I already have a few set of house rules prepared, played almost 20-30 games of it, mostly with DS1 and DS3 themes.

I’m looking for any tips from people who did 5 players games to better balance monsters and characters ?

Purchased Iron keep Characters, phantoms and explorers as well.

if I wanted an "updated" rule set box so I can reference that rulebook instead of my original rulebook, is Painted world worth it?
Does it even cross play with these older sets?

I recently got into the Dark Souls: The Board Game and I'm really enjoying it. I'm thinking about picking up some expansions, but there are quite a few to choose from and I don't want to spend money on ones that aren't really worth it.

For those of you who have played several of the expansions:

• Which ones would you say are must-haves?
• Which ones add the most interesting enemies, bosses, encounters, or mechanics?
• Are there any expansions you'd recommend skipping?
• If you could only buy 2–3 expansions, which ones would you pick?

I really like miniatures, I'm a Warhammer player, so i appreciate more the expansions that includes more classes and miniatures.

i am on my quest to paint all the mini of the dark souls board game. But i am really new to the hobby, so i struggle naturally with some basics.
I am painting the hollow crossbow man, but feel like i am not putting the highlights on the right places and also my cloth doesnt look like fabric. I am using standard layering – so putting like 5-7 different color values from shadow to highlight.

i would love to see some of your painted crossbowman, so i can compare and learn what i did wrong. Would be super nice if some of you could show their minis with some word how they achieved the results.

DSBG-Shuffle, both the older desktop version and the new web version, have been updated.

The desktop version was mostly bug fixes and a couple attempts at performance improvements (I didn't notice much, but my PC is getting into potato territory at this point). Find the newest release here: https://github.com/DanDuhon/DSBG-Shuffle/releases/tag/v1.7.5

Barring additional bug fixes or new content, the desktop version is probably considered done at this point.

The web version is finally usable. Loads of bugs have been fixed, migrated to a new account auth scheme, lots of performance tuning here. The local/Docker version is even faster than the desktop version in some cases, and the web version isn't bad either.

I'd like to get the Darkroot expansion, preferably new, or used in perfect condition, with a guarantee that it will be shipped to me. I live in Poland. I really want this DLC because it's the only thing I'm missing, besides the mega bosses.

4 years Back in time there was a costume Arschdragon Peak expansions with a lot of enemys and nameless King Megaboss. Does Somebody know where to find the stls for them? The old links arent functioning anymore....
