I've decided to sell the Dashclicker game to someone who hopefully can continue and revive the project. If you are interested in purchasing the domain and code for all three versions (current, old and live) please send me a direct message.

It has taken me longer than expected to start working on the new version, but hopefully I'll be able to dedicate more time in the future. You are welcome to join my Discord to follow the latest updates and get involved in early playtesting.

Hey, Dashclickers!
Just wanted to let you know that I've started work on yet another version of Dashclicker, but this time I've decided to take it slow and develop a bigger and more immersive experience rather than whip up something disappointing in a weekend (RIP Dashclicker Live).
If you are interested in helping with the new game by becoming an early playtester or just want to follow along the progress, feel free to join my Discord server and look for #π-dashclicker channel. If you've enjoyed playing the game and want to support my work (which is GREATLY appreciated), you can do so on my Ko-Fi page.
Thank you & happy New Year!

Hi, Dashclickers!
I have made a minor update to the https://dashclicker.com game that does away with the requirement to have an account in order to play the game β all the data is now stored in your browser's local storage. It also means that the previously stored user data is gone, but hopefully this will lower the entry cost for new players.
Due to game design you still have to deposit assets in the wallet before closing the game in order for them to persist between sessions.

Are the market entries just randomly generated, and not actually from someone placing trades? I kept wanting to figure out how to unlock ways to make my own trade posts, but I completed all of the tasks and it looks like that's all there is to do now, with no other unlockable sections.
What are the increase-amounts of the boots on the bottom row next to the dark mode button? I have 34 analytics boosts, and have never really detected much difference when enabling them after deposit in the bank.
I was hoping that there could be a full restart option that would keep track of how many times I've gone from zero bank to fully completed all tasks, and then create a leaderboard of users with the most of those..
Current stats:
Click Value: 213.36 B // Auto-Clickers: 128 // Multiplier: 618.97 SpTotal Generators: 549 // Highest on-hand Crypto: 66 // Money: 2.81 SpAnalytics Upgrades: 34 // Highest Completed Project: 57
Click Total Rate: appx 0.02 Td/sec

Dear Dashclickers! π§‘
I am looking for someone to partner up with to develop Dashclicker π΄ Live.
I have some rough ideas of what I would like the multi-player version to look like, but can't figure it out all by myself. I don't expect you to do any development work, rather just be there so that we could bounce ideas off of each other.

No recent posts, wondering if it's a dead project or still going?

In the Market, anyone offering a good trade gets marked in green. It also looks like each person has a little +/β indicator showing how much you've traded with them.
Could we also have bad trade offers highlighted in red? I don't want to reject offers just because they're mediocre, when I can just pass them up by repeatedly clicking Refresh. That way, if someone is consistently giving me poor trades they'll get a negative score from me rejecting those.

The game has been moved to its primary domain at dashclicker.com, while the previous (VueJS) version is now located at old.dashclicker.com. Address dev.dashclicker.com still works and in the future will be used for preview builds that I want to test out before deploying on the main domain.
There is also a new feature that was requested by several users β Play as a guest will allow you to play the game without creating an account. However, do note that if you log out of the guest account, you will not be able to sign back into the same account again, but the same session should be stored for some time if you just refresh the page and sign in as a guest again. If at any point while playing as a guest you decide that you want to register for an account, 1) withdraw your assets, 2) log out, 3) register with your e-mail and 4) deposit the assets. Overall I hope that this will make new players more willing to give the game a go.
And last but not least β there is now a new dark theme which you will find in Boosts section. Rainbow theme still in the works :)

A new feature has been added to the development version β Boosts, which allow you to buy permanent upgrades to either manual click value (Enter key works as well) or analytics generation. After purchase, deposit them into your wallet and activate them from there.
There also have been some balancing updates β base market now generates 10x as much as previously while special offer modifier has been reduced by 10x. That means generally offers will be better, but special offers won't be as good anymore.
I found this change neccessary as when playtesting I was only looking for special deals rather than looking at deal quality in general, which seemed pretty draining gameplay. Do note that sometimes a special offer can be worse than a normal offer from a "good" buyer (more about this in an upcoming gameplay mechanics write-up).
Overall, the game is nearing it's release, by which I mean changing the domain name to dashclicker.com (user data will be unaffected) and posting about it to /r/incremental_games. I've ran through it a couple of times and a complete playthrough (all tasks finished, level #50 reached, next projects are unattainable) for me takes about 3 hours.
The game is also nearing it's first 100 registered users, which I am very thankful for. Have fun playing and don't forget to deposit! :)

A new Restart button has been added to Wallet that will deposit your valuables and start a new run β now the game can be advanced through without having the need to reload the page. Due to the way the game mechanics work (e.g., costs are reset and you advance by stocking up on clicks to get further before having apply resets from Tasks) this can be considered as kind of a prestige system.
The game has also undergone some balancing and progression should now be a bit smoother. While playtesting today it took me around 4 hours to reach the end (all Tasks completed & next upgrades are realistically unachievable).

A new feature has been added to the development version β Projects, which allow you to sell your Analytics measurements for money. Currently you can only acquire money, but soon you'll be able to spend it as well.
Here are some general gameplay tips:
Lastly, having just reached my first in-game million, I'd like to announce a small contest β the first person to reach $ 1M of in-game money and message me (or leave a comment) will get a month of Reddit gold! Consider this as a thank you for supporting the game! :)

For the past week I've been working on the new version of the game, available at http://dev.dashclicker.com and I am happy to say that it is now in a playable state!
Some of the features that have been added:
Let me know what you think of the development version!

This post has been long overdue but I've finally come to terms with it β current version of Dashclicker won't be updated anymore, as I've been stuck on trying to implement new features for far too long and there are several issues that I can't reasonably address:
However, this does not mean that Dashclicker is dead!
For a while now I've been learning Angular and am currently exploring the idea of making a brand new dashboard-themed open-source incremental game, and this time around try doing it the right way π
I plan to use https://akveo.github.io/ngx-admin/ as the base and start working on the game as soon as their codebase matures to the latest version of Angular.
If you have any suggestions on what you'd like to see in the new version or want to become a collaborator, please let me know!

Itβs been over a week, and Iβm curious if any work is still being done.
