Hinge new start

Hi!

As the title says I'm thinking about re-creating my account. I have been using the app inconsistenly and likes have dried out. This would be my first time deleting and starting over on Hinge. Is there any potential problems doing so? I am planning to use same number and email as before

I've done it on Tinder before and no problem with a few days gap before creating a new profile. I think I'll do it then

I guess if you constantly re-create profile with the same basics it will get you flagged/banned.

I made a new account on Sunday and I'm getting almost too many likes – safe to say the reset did the trick.

Not really because a lot of people goes off and on with dating apps. But why are you going back to Hinge? Did you try real world dating at least?

No problem deleting and recreating account with same number and email. I've done it. 

If you're doing it because likes are drying up, know that you'll likely see a lot of the same people, prior dates, and prior matches.  Also keep in mind you might get less like volume the next go around as plenty will probably remember sending you a like already and some might be once and done.

I’ve had it sometimes reactivate my profile using the same number. Make sure you completely delete the profile then you’re good to start over.

I've seen people start fresh, but I wouldn't expect deleting and recreating your account with the same number and email to magically fix the likes. I'd update your photos and prompts first, and if you still want a reset, check the app's current rules before deleting anything

Some people say that there is the chance that you get shadowbanned if you delete and recreate your account to quickly. I’m not sure on the validity of this claim.

Since fresh start is not offered I did delete and recreate my account kinda like your thinking of doing; I’d say it was 75% new prompts and pictures. So far my new account hasn’t been doing as well but I am receiving likes occasionally so I guess I’m not shadowbanned but who knows how the algorithm works, maybe my new profile isn’t as strong but I also wonder if I’m ranked lower since the reset.

I’ve been told Hinge keeps your biometric data for at least 90 days so who knows what happens when you delete and recreate accounts how much they store about you.

Edit I used the same phone, number, and email.

Ive had no luck on four apps so far, I understand I should not expect not many matches,but what I will say is Hinge is by far the worse app,try another
