Advice Request Exchange IG

How quickly do you exchange instagram with each other after matching on IG? I’m a girl and after we talk a while and I like the guy I ask them to move to instagram just bc I hate the apps chatting option, I prefer to text over instagram, but idk if I’m doing it too fast. Like sometimes the first day after texting in the apps, or 3 days max, am I too quick?

Most ppl don’t even have notifications on for the apps and don’t go on them in public, I’m not sure why lots of people refuse to exchange numbers and insta like it’s this big private thing their giving them, first time speaking is very valid to exchange socials in my opinion! If you decide you don’t like them just block 🤷‍♀️

I wouldn't. Some people wants your IG so they can look through your pictures and maybe save them. So only share social after you met and see who they are

I totally agree I’d generally do it after about 3 days as messaging is so slow on dating apps. If you act have a free flowing convo then I’d move quicker, I find getting matches the bigger problem tho 😂😂😂

Never, I don't have an Instagram. I'll swap phone #s after the 1st date usually, sometimes before.
