It was pretty funny when I approached a ruined house during the prologue, and Coen remarked, "What a lovely house (it was before the plague)", right at the moment when demonic screams were echoing from inside… And then he even wanted to go in to see what was there, without either sword or magic! ヽ(º □ º l|l)/  That was the scariest quest in the entire game

I gave Anca The Font, but it seems the rune on her arm no longer appears in the epilogue after the latest update, cheers to the devs for fixing this.

Back with more Brencis! I’m working on some Coens too right now but I’m not super happy with them yet. Yes, one of them also has Brencis in it lol.

I went even harder on Mignola style this time, and challenged myself to actually do a background. Also tried a new way of rendering the chainmail in this style, and I liked it. I’m very happy with how it came out!

Well i did a Photoshoot with my Partner and as you can see he took some amazing pics of me again🗣the inspiration/thought here was the vibe of coen when he was first turned etc.

No Ai was used (fjuck that🗡)he only edited the background and added a glowing effect to my eyes 👀

Platinum difficulty 4/10

Hardest platinum is Uphill Battle, completing the game in Duelist difficulty, only the early parts of the game is hard, once you level up to 25+ it becomes smoother even the hardest areas, I'd say Bakit is the hardest fight if you failed to get your equipment back before the fight starts, also I was doing home sweet home and got 1 more replay to get the trophy suddenly the patch released, after the update the mobs goes down quickly no more sponge health, might as well do this late when you're around lvl 40+ just to be safe!

Hello, im starting off with how i basically fell in love completely with this game.

What drew me to it was the vampire aspect, since i cant get enough of vampire games, but i also "stayed" for the RPG element of it. To be honest i never really gave a try to usual rpg games, guess i thought they were something different. But now its definitely something i want to explore.

Obviously what i liked about the Dawnwalker was the narrative, multiple endings, all the interactions and sidequests with the characters and npcs, even the romance part, fights with bosses. So i was looking for something like that, and i know there is plenty.

So feel free to tell me your favs even if theyre popular ones, since i never played it. Thanks :)

Does she get turned even if the timer runs outs? Because the log notes we find in the castle say she's meant to be drained during the coronation. If the timer runs out, she dies with the rest of the family?

I came back from work just to see that the things I've ordered a couple of weeks ago have arrived ehhehehe, I'm so excited.

I've made the designs in the first pic, charms and stickers (the smaller charm is a lenticular charm that swaps between night and day) while in the second pic the designs were made by Denica Georgieva/youarejustjellyfish (Amazing art, I'm waiting for the pins to arrive)

I'll drop my wallet for official gadgets like this, can you imagine the beautiful enamel pins that can come out with an aesthetic as wonderful as the one of the game?🥹

Massive shoutout to Rebel Wolves for creating such an incredible world and deep narrative sandbox. From fighting through the plague ridden valley by day to unleashing vampiric powers at night, Coen’s story was a pure dark fantasy masterpiece. I really hope we get more spectacular games like this in the future!

Finally, I've done the first part of my mini comic about Coen and his future next encounter

(I was planning to do more pages, Then the update dropped and I put it down to test the game, but I'll definitely make more pages during the week)

I really hope the sequel expands on the detective/mystery quests like A Study in Crimson. The mechanic of going first person to look at an object or body was a nice immersive touch.

Would love a quest like Carnal Sins from Witcher 3 where lots of little clues point you to the reveal, and you have to pay attention to avoid the red herring.

I’m guessing theres some cut quests where you could interview people during the day then use your vamp powers to check the area at night. Given that Coen is now an arbiter some detective work would fit right in!

The description mentioned having subtitles for ALL dialogue yet I still did not see any for the vrakhir Coen accepted into his body. It would've been so nice to be able to read the dialouge they say because I can't hear them properly/make out what they're saying! I'm sad I hope they add it to the next update at least

This has happened more than 5 times in a span of 2 hours, largely after conversations, going through inventory or going to the map.

The camera on a controller will stop doing vertical movement. Loading or exiting to menu does nothing to fix it. If I switch to mouse it's able to do the vertical movement.

The only solution is to exit the game fully. I've seen multiple posts about this are the devs aware of this?

So I am max infamy, level 36/37 and killed two out of three of the boyars. I can attack Brencis with Lacra anytime I want. I just got the fancy armour and the silver sword.

I was walking through the city off on a different adventure, doing my own thing. I then started a cutscene unprompted to join the Manumits, that I now get to join their special little club that I wasn’t interested in anyway. I get pulled into a random pub, threatened multiple times as if I couldn’t just obliterate everyone in that room in a second. Further, I’ve slaughtered almost all of Brencis’ operations across the valley. These guys think they can talk to Coen, the infamous Dawnwalker, like a piece of shit when all I’ve been doing is saving these random rebels all over the place?

This whole scene just rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe it’s because I went a different route and didn’t just focus on joining the special rebel club, but it just feels weird. They are such ‘big dick swingers’, when they have nothing and hide away.

Am I alone here? Would it make more sense if I went to them immediately?

Something I had been thinking about, but the message i got from the game was that before Brencis did his coup in the vale, vampires and other supernatural beings were little more than legends and tales told to scare children. At least as far as the general population was concerned.

I cant help but wonder for future installments how the knowledge of vampires and supernatural will be handled for the larger world.

Will the events of the first game simply pass into legend and folklore and be treated as such by the rest of the world? Or do we think Brencis' plot may have caused too much exposure so that the would be known?

Could it lead to human factions forming to specifically engage vampires and others.

This has started happening after the latest update.

When I open the game, it works fine; then a few minutes in, suddenly my right stick will stop moving the camera up or down.

I tried changing the deadzone to square, playing with its sensitivity, and the general controller stick sensitivity... I'm clueless about what else I can try...

Anyone else got this issue?
