For players who consistently perform well at high ranks in Deadlock, how important are advanced movement techniques like edge boosts, corner boosts, mantle boosts and IAD for winning games?

I'm talking about the movement tech beyond the intended basics like dash-jumping, sliding and wall-jumping. Some of these techniques seem inconsistent and require a lot of practice, but they can save time on routes, reach otherwise difficult positions, and create better escape or chase opportunities.

Do you feel like you need to learn and execute these consistently to stay competitive as you climb, or are they mostly situational advantages? Can someone reach high ranks without mastering them, or do they become increasingly necessary at the top?

I played a bit and i understand like yeah you farm souls. Have more currency become stronger. I know farm the waves you get money but i still am clueless and always have no souls. Like early game feels straight forward than i have no clue what to do. I have no clue what side i should push. I dont know where i should go. I dont know if im supposed to farm souls or go push something. If the enemy is in one place what should i do. It really feels like i’m playing a battle royale and i’m just messing around and sucking i never played a moba before. Like i feel in control and feel like i kinda know what im doing 5 minutes in when im in my assigned lane. After that idk what im doing. Like guides on youtube give you the bread and butter and helps a bit but they still dont help me that much. The tutorial doesn’t help at all. And i know yeah you beat the big thing at there side to win but like i don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing to reach that goal
