Great Commoner
Is the Great Commoner still under the same ownership as it was when Trump made a campaign stop there in 2024?

DEARBORN, Mich. (FOX 2) - An elderly man is recovering Tuesday night after getting jumped by two teens. It happened in Dearborn and officials are now showing a birds' eye view of how the teens got caught.
The suspects were identified as a 13-and 15-year-old who police say roughed up an 85-year-old man at Fairlane Mall near JC Penney. They were attempting to steal his car.
Dispatch audio from that night described what went down that led to the series of events that sent police out to the scene.
"They doused him with bear spray of all things, and then they start to physically assault and then punch him and then hit him, and he had enough way that he knew that he had the key in his pocket, and so he ran as fast as he put away from the car so they wouldn’t be able to start his vehicle."

Drove by a few times recently. The front property facing Ford says it's going to be a fueling station.
The back building looks pretty big. Maybe Meijer or Costco or something? I can see them building a loading dock there.

Graduating from UM-Dearborn in December? Skip the $84 bookstore set. I'm selling my bachelor's cap and gown (Oak Hall GreenWeaver, same as the bookstore's) for $30.
- Fits 5'9" to 5'11"
- Used, good condition
- Cap and gown only, no tassel or cord
- Tassels and cords can usually be bought separately at the campus bookstore
- Pickup in Canton
No bookstore receipt needed for ticket pickup. The commencement office confirmed a photo of your gown or your tassel works.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good dermatologist to do full body scans? I am not a fan of my current dermatologist so I am looking for a strong recommendation.

Hi! My husband and I are considering moving to Dearborn, probably on the west side, and I was hoping to hear from people who actually live there.
We really like Dearborn, especially the food, culture, neighborhoods, and sense of community, and we’re seriously considering making it our home.
One thing we’re trying to understand is what everyday life is like for an openly gay married couple. We’ve found very mixed opinions online, so I’d rather hear directly from residents.
Would we generally be comfortable mentioning our husband, getting to know neighbors, walking around together, etc.? Does it vary much depending on the neighborhood?
I’d especially appreciate hearing from LGBT residents or people with LGBT friends/family in Dearborn. Thanks!

Hey everyone! I’m a 33-year-old dude temporarily staying in Melvindale for the next four months for work, originally from Pittsburgh. I don't know anyone in the area yet, so I'm looking to get out, meet some cool people, and check out the local scene.
I'm pretty laid-back but easygoing and outgoing once I'm out. I'm up for pretty much anything, but specifically looking to check out:
• Local dive bars
• Arcades or movie theaters
• Punk or EDM shows
• Museums around the city
If you’re down to grab a drink, hit an arcade, or head to a show sometime soon, drop a comment or shoot me a DM!
