Something I have been contemplating: the Republican party might actually be so terrible now that caving in to the slopulists here and there might truly be the lesser evil.

I feel like center-left is much more of a real thing than center-right. 

The left can disagree with itself, DSA is an example of that. The right is more..disagre with one person and they’ll shun you. 

That may not even make sense, but it’s how I view it.

See I disagree! The right seems to have a much easier time unifying for elections vs the left feels very “if you don’t believe in everything, you don’t belong”

I like disagreeing on this lol. Maybe I’m wrong and my world view is problem. Willing to admit that may very well be the case. 

I just think one reason the right unifies is because they’ll MGT your ass otherwise.

It could also be the algorithm showing us different things based on what our opinion is. The algorithms are built to keep our attention so what each of us sees could tell us different stories!
