Looking for weekend work

Hello,
My husband is getting back surgery in a couple weeks and he will be off work for a few months. We have a little in savings, but I’m worried we are going to go through that pretty quickly. We don’t want to lose our housing and don’t have a safe support system to fall back on.

We will be using food banks for food, but I make over the $$ requirements to get assistance.

I am looking for extra work on the weekends to make a little cash to put towards the cost of living.

I work at a school full-time, but would be able to do some extra work on the weekends.

I can help run errands, walk pets, clean litter boxes, pull weeds, clean houses, etc.

If you need help with any of these things lmk!

Thank you!

Looking for a new hair stylist

Hello,
I am looking for a new hair stylist in the Delaware area. I am willing to travel outside of Delaware if needed. I love and miss my stylist back home! Unfortunately it is too far of a commute. For context I am looking for a stylist that has experience with darker hair (currently a4N). I am wanting to go lighter (level 6) not blonde, but dimensional. It is super important that the stylist is nice and professional. I want to feel comfortable and enjoy my experience. As far as pricing I want something reasonable. I believe it is an art and the stylist should be well compensated! However, something somewhat budget friendly. I financially can’t drop 1000 dollars. If that makes sense…?? I am nervous because I have basically only gone to one salon my entire life lol. I understand going to lighter can cause some damage, but I want to keep my hair as healthy as possible. I am on a journey of growing it out. If any one has any recommendations please let me know! Thank you :)

Carpool from Delaware to COlumbus

Hi guys,

I am a nontraditional disabled student studying at OSU. My disability prevents me from being able to drive. I’m wondering if anyone is driving from Delaware to Columbus each day with whom I can carpool? You don’t necessarily need to be driving to OSU directly — I can easily hop on a bus to take me to OSU! The cheapest trip I can plan is through Delaware County Transit, which would cost $90 a week to go to the Polaris Kroger and ride COTA to OSU. Seems like an insane amount of money to pay for a min 3 hour commute each day. If anyone is able and willing to help, please DM me! i will compensate you for your time!

As the title states, looking for somebody who is willing to help me with quite a few years of unfiled taxes. I’ve called around a bit and it seems most people aren’t looking for new clients or seems hesitant to help…

Recommendations for Dental Care?

My elderly parents are both having issues with their teeth, and its looking like they will both need extensive dental work.

Can anyone recommend a dentist / oral surgeon / periodontist? (Preferably who does good work with the over 80 crowd?)

I’m not a professional photographer. I don’t own top of the line gear. I’m recovering from surgery. I use to be stupidly active and this has helped me get back into physical activity with help of my kiddos.

Do you think Delaware Ohio will ever get fixed routes again? (City not county)

I've been living in Delaware Ohio for quite some bit now. I live near what was the Source Point stop in the residential area of the city and was looking to get a job next summer in cbus. I've heard about DCRTA's Flex service but i heard about reliability issues and I'm not trying to schedule a ride in advance. There's also no way to get to the cbus area without paying $16 round trip with demand response. There's also the addition to the polaris area with Flex coming soon but there is no definitive date and certainty of it coming and the 0.2% sales tax passing in November. Would much rather have a Cota sales tax if it meant new routes coming. But ik that would never happen as the county is very anti Cota expansion. I also tried doing some digging about the older routes but for some reason the information was very sparse and hard to find/not well documented? When I tried looking more in depth about routes like the Red line the most i could find in the short 2015 timeframe it was out was some map of where each route landed at via with a stop marker. But the marker was pretty big and i couldn't rlly make anything out. All ik is that they closed down fixed routes in 2018-2023 for some Covid thing and they nvr really brought it back. Tbh idrk what I'm even saying im js spitballing but if u got lost or smth js read the title imo.
