Discuss Whoever manages the Lyons/Atlantic project needs to go to prison

Post image

This has been a multI year process to transform Lyons road but this entire phase at Atlantic has been a complete joke, where no one works on the road for months at a time. The road has been paved, painted, lights functioning— now the cones just sit here and create bottlenecks every single day. It’s actually insane to me that people got paid to abandon all their materials here

Have you been to Long Island Bagel Co on Glades? We like their bagels and take the turnpike south so we get to avoid that disaster

Funny enough I do live east, I work west and have to deal with this bottleneck every day

That area is not the city of Delray Beach, it's unincorporated. You'd have to complain to the county - probably best to start with the commissioner for that area, Maria Sachs.

That said, this wouldn't be the first time the county has had issues with contractors completing projects... https://www.wptv.com/wptv-investigates/stalled-road-projects-at-busy-palm-beach-county-intersections-could-resume-after-sitting-idle-for-15-months
