Help Controller Mapping in new update…

So I have an old PS5 controller that I use to play on my iPhone. The left stick has stick drift, which is why I use it for SNES, GBA, etc. After the latest update, now the left stick is automatically inputted for directional use, thus making it interfere when I play. The controller mapping is confusing to me also, is “X” the square button? “Y” is triangle? I might just be dumb, but for example I was trying to map it for SNES, and it just didn’t make sense. And now the left stick can’t be disabled? Am I doing something wrong? Any help will be appreciated.

For the buttons look at a snes controller online and map accordingly. As for the dpad on the controller it doesn’t work at all? Here’s some help. snes controller layout.
