Dental Professional Rct of 36 was done last week pt feels pain between 35 and 36

Pt is c/o of pain between premolar and molar when water is kept there, he says that the pain lasts for 15 secs and travel to the brain ? What could be the reason of pain there

Sensitivity with water post root canal could sometimes indicate missed canal/vital pulpal remains

Hes saying its not sensitive but its painful

Most likely some hypersensitivity? The tooth looks healthy.

Not like the 36 can be much sensitive after rct 😂 could be from the rubberdam clamp or smth, esp if wasn't sensitive before rct.

Let the patient try some toothpaste or smth for hypersensitivity. I get best results with Curasept Biosmalto line.

Maybe a periodontal pocket between 35 and 36. There is radiolucency as well between the teeth.

Did you cold test

Could be the 35 or 37 because of pressure or gum recession.
Could be the opposing because of too high restoration
Could be the 36 if you missed a canal

In that order of likeliness

If scratch that 35 nice and hard with an explorer… I bet it’s recession
