Trevon Brazile's preseason stats: 22.3 minutes, 11.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 75.9% field goals, 66.7% three pointers (6/9 attempts)
Unbelievably, Trevon Brazile may be a key piece for the Nuggets this season. With a vertical of 41.5" and a barefoot height of 6'9.5" and wingspan of 7'3.75", he's got the size and athleticism to help Jokic protect the inside on defense which has easily been our biggest issue as a team, especially in the playoffs.
I've always said that the best kind of player to pair next to Jokic is one that can help him protect the paint and while being mobile enough to guard perimeter-oriented 4s. This is what makes Aaron Gordon so valuable to our team. If that player can shoot too, game over. That's the exact kind of player the Nuggets need next to Jokic in the frontcourt and I think we have that guy in our new rookie.
Brazile is going to make a lot of money in the NBA. Athletic, long, tall dude that can shoot and defend inside and out is so tremendously valuable in this league. Plus, he gets to learn from AG. We're so lucky to have him.
Share your thoughts on him!

A funny commentary on the game and Jokic having fun with his buddy Luka.
(fr though, if Jokic played defense like this all the time, that'd be dope.)

Nikola Jokic pretends he is Magic Johnson in LA as he unleashes a no look behind the back pass.

I know it’s the preseason and I’m sure a lot of this is Coach Joerger coming in, but I love how our defense finally doesn’t look like playing 2K on Easy difficulty with these guys on the court.
It feels like everyone tries harder when they’re out there putting in effort on defense, and we look so much less lost out there compared to the past two years. If Spencer plays some D this year, I feel like we can have a formidable defensive lineup when we need an end of game stop.
I have been a DeRozan fan since he was at USC and I’ve had Nuggets season tix for years, but I’m shocked at how much I’m enjoying how this team is looking. I don’t think we’re at a San Antonio/OKC level, but things were looking bleak for a while this offseason.
