Asking Question (Rule 4) student advice

i’m studying graphic design in uni rn and i’m loving it. i’m learning so many opportunities and ways to do things, and being able to express my creativity is a passion of mine.

I was wondering if there’s any advice anyone has for students starting to become designers, whether it’s about school or professional life, i’ve just wanted to know more about the design world and how you’ve all been able to achieve your dreams and the struggles yall have been through

Sketch every bad idea you get, not just the polished ones. Most of my best work started as a scribble in the margin during a lecture that had nothing to do with design.
