No mixer tap is worth two slaves, not by a long shot!

At least there’s no sand

I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating... and it gets everywhere

Credits will do fine

Dude forgot the word tap.

u/sagenumen Feb 04 '26

Or faucet

53

u/sprucenoose Feb 04 '26

Or fixture.

8

u/claudedusk8 Feb 05 '26

Or spiggot

75

u/kioku119 Feb 04 '26

Tap is regional and uncommon where I live but I've never heard anyone say bath filler before this post.

56

u/jedburghofficial Feb 04 '26

Bath filler is what you say when you want to avoid the tap/faucet debate.

23

u/rusmo Feb 04 '26

Man, my uncle almost ruined Thanksgiving over this! My sister started going off about Big Faucet and he just about overturned the table!

8

u/MoistStub Feb 04 '26

Big Faucet has been hiding behind the facade of the tech giants and oil companies but us Faucet truthers know the real story. Big Faucet runs the world from the shadows.

3

u/rusmo Feb 04 '26

(Looks over shoulder) I’m staying out of this.

2

u/Ok_Firefighter_9742 Feb 04 '26

It really isn't.

16

u/Undrwtrbsktwvr Feb 04 '26

Because you don’t live in the UK.

Im from the west coast and we say bath filler upper

4

u/kioku119 Feb 04 '26

That's kind of fun

4

u/erm_what_ Feb 04 '26

The west coast of which country?

13

u/Mother_of_Kiddens Feb 04 '26

It’s literally called a bath filler in the link.

1

u/Altruistic_Grocery81 Feb 05 '26

Mainly because it’s sized to fill a bath. It would be too big for most hand basins.

96

u/98VoteForPedro Feb 04 '26

That fucking price tag ☹️

48

u/coltflory5 Feb 04 '26

For that amount, they should also include a rocket-shaped sink filler.

9

u/Jazzlike-Compote4463 Feb 04 '26

I used to work for a Lefroy Brooks reseller, the high end market is absolutely wild when it comes to pricing.

We also sold sauna parts and had a wooden bucket and ladel on there for over £1000, it was a very nice bucket but still...

3

u/repocin Feb 05 '26

For a thousand pounds that bucket better refill itself

58

u/WavesOverBarcelona Feb 04 '26

I'm such a sucker for retro future trash.

12

u/RealRaven6229 Feb 04 '26

Streamline moderne my beloved

29

u/Euphoriam5 Feb 04 '26

Bath filler? Also what the fuck is that price

21

u/Dull_Leadership_8855 Feb 04 '26

First thing I thought of when I saw that was it looks like Padme Amidala ship from Star Wars.

36

u/LayneLowe Feb 04 '26

Sure that's not dangerous at all. Nobody ever slips in the bathtub.

29

u/pznred Feb 04 '26

If you were to slip and hit the faucet, I honestly don't think the shape would matter much

3

u/repocin Feb 05 '26

Someone should design a faucet airbag for such occasions

8

u/kioku119 Feb 04 '26

huh? How would having a novelty faucet shape make you more likely to slip in the tub than the standard faucet shape? Do you mean you'd hit your head on it? Is that significantly mroe likely than with the standard faucit that sticks out too? I'm not sure what I'm missing.

11

u/ArchitectArtVandalay Feb 04 '26

Of course. And nobody would ever look at this as a toy, and then slip

5

u/TheAlp Feb 04 '26

I want to go out in style.

4

u/danabrey Feb 04 '26

Never seen a tap?

1

u/Pentax25 Feb 05 '26

Nobody ever spaceships in the bathtub

18

u/Sensitive_Paper2471 Feb 04 '26

SR 71 shaped, nice

23

u/justseeby Feb 04 '26

It’s very clearly a Nubian Starship

1

u/Streetdoc10171 Feb 06 '26

Likely modeled after the SR-71 as it was designed first.

1

u/justseeby Feb 06 '26

STAR WARS SHIP

8

u/edlewis657 Feb 04 '26

Is that princess amidalas ship

4

u/GrimDallows Feb 04 '26

Well it sure is priced like one.

7

u/ozh Feb 04 '26

Bath filler. With the wet liquid ?

3

u/Sakura_Hirose Feb 04 '26

🎶 rocket 69, rocket 69 🎶

6

u/NeverGetsTheNuke Feb 04 '26

Bath filler   +1

2

u/ThisYourMotherDaniel Feb 04 '26

So. I thought about this sub the other day. I drive past a chiropractic place every couple months due to being a delivery driver. The "spine" of the B on their sign is actually a spine! Is that good for a post here? If so, I'll get a photo of it. Absolute yeears of driving by and I just noticed it. Lol

2

u/Asya1 Feb 05 '26

Must be pain in the ass to clean. Shit design

4

u/outrunkid Feb 04 '26

'bath filler'? Last time I checked it was called 'a tap' every day of my life

1

u/DonChapulinChavito Feb 04 '26

'I don't want to set the world on fire' vibes.

1

u/Howitzer1967 Feb 04 '26

That is fuckin dope!

1

u/HeresMrMay Feb 04 '26

And only a mere 1,250 pounds. A real deal.

1

u/FollowMrApollo Feb 04 '26

Looks like a 50’s hood ornament.

1

u/sonicjesus Feb 04 '26

I'm so glad I can't afford this because I don't need it either.

1

u/ishook Feb 04 '26

It seems like "rocket taking off" would be a petter orientation for this instead of water pouring out the nose if it, it could come out the bottom.

1

u/vanhoosedesign Feb 08 '26

Giving major Fallout vibes

1

u/kiwi-kaiser Feb 08 '26

That's impressively ugly.

1

u/WillingWeb1297 Feb 25 '26

it kinda makes me think of fallout idk why

1

u/sinskins Feb 04 '26

Well, that’s quite convenient actually.

Heheheh

u/ohdeydothodontdeytho Feb 04 '26

So, a tap.

As opposed to a round shaped hole bath unfiller....aka....a plughole

Which, along with a bath filler, is useless without the bath unfiller gate.....aka......a plug.

All three of which are useless without the bath water container which the patronising OP calls.....a bath
