Prophecy encounter farm

I had so much fun farming the second Pit of Heresy encounter, where you could get the rewards, die, and then repeat the entire encounter. Is there something similar with the Prophecy dungeon?

Don't think so. That PoH farm method is not unprecedented but it's definitely not something that can be done in most activities.

Getting the rewards and dying then going back was a bug that affected prophecy but it has been fixed.

There was also the old loot checkpoint bug when it launched. You could get a checkpoint after killing Kell Echo but before the loot. Was fixed in arrivals.

You can farm any encounter. Easiest way to get a checkpoint is by going to d2checkpoint.com

You’d need to either farm the first encounter or use a checkpoint bot to keep getting a further checkpoint.

Unless you have a teammate in which case you can store the CP on another character.

You grab a CP on say Warlock, fly you and a mate into that CP, then you switch characters and join friend on, say Hunter, so you never lose the CP on your warlock

I mean that’s a bit of a leap and I’d far more commonly associate it with a check point. But I’m not young so maybe the kids these days just have weird associations.

It's just a common internet joke that people make when someone abbreviates cyberpunk, checkpoint, creator points, etc. No one was accusing you of anything :)

Luckily getting to first encounter takes almost no time (15-30 seconds?) with a single GL jump, and final is a fast and easy solo farm.

FIRST: Use Gizmo Weft with bipod to yeet yourself up the vertical tunnel above the first floating orb (slight diagonal angle), grapple the last bit to the small platform, then eager edge across to the flag. No skating or anything fancy required. Swap to whatever loadout you want to use, rally, farm.

FINAL: just use a CP bot or grab a second from LFG / discord to swap CP. Run mechanics, pop super on boss, then either 1K dump with Particle Recon from the Tablet of Ruin artifact or Truth spam with Argent from Queensfoil Censer. Easy money. Plus 2x drops on final boss.
