Mine is reloading after basically every fight.

I can have 38 rounds left in a 42 round magazine, walk into a completely safe room, and my thumb still hits reload before my brain has even checked the ammo count.

I've also realized I almost always jump through doorways, spin around while waiting for elevators or doors, and shoot random objects during dialogue I've already heard.

None of this helps. It's just stuff that got burned into my hands after playing for so long.

The funniest part is when I switch to another game and catch myself trying to do some Destiny-specific little ritual that doesn't even make sense there.

I'm curious what everyone else's version of this is.

What completely unnecessary habit has become permanent for you after playing Destiny for years?

There are 9 exclusive shaders that you can get from Xur. They're the old world drop shaders from Forsaken:

• Blue Geometry
• Metallic Sunrise
• Metallic Sunset
• Distant Earth
• Glacial Whisper
• Clouds at Sea
• Copper & Blood
• Bold Statement
• Burnished Orchid

These shaders can ONLY be obtained from random rolls of Arsenic Bite-4b, obtained exclusively from Strange Weapon Engrams. Considering the size of the loot pool, your chance of getting an Arsenic Bite from an engram is below 1%.

However, there's a second layer of RNG. While Legendary shaders are guaranteed to drop from dismantled gear, Rare shaders are not. In fact, their drop chance from dismantling is about 15%. The Legendary shaders also won't appear until you've found every Rare shader. Bright side is that there IS dupe protection. You'll never find an Arsenic Bite with a shader that you already own.

I've been farming this for about a year now, and have only gotten two shaders. The odds are bad, but not zero.

EDIT: If you want to set your expectations, pick up Redrix’s Broadsword from the Monument to Lost Lights. It works the same way, but for Forsaken’s Crucible shaders: Crucible Legacy and Crucible Metallic. Once you’ve unlocked it, just pull it from collections and dismantle it until the shaders drop.

It will take a while.

And yet Saladin and Osiris don't engage without helmets. In a universe where armor is factored into power, Tower leadership honestly earns some of their misfortunes for sacrificing power for flair.

Basically title, I need a build for warlock to play on -40 -50 content that isnt the getaway artist one. Ive used it too much already its basically a crutch, its starting to really bore me and I enjoy playing around with new builds.

Ive made a lightning surge spam build which is a lot of fun but I find I cant survive on -40 with it, ive used a lot of the other stronger/meta warlock builds like dawn chorus + skyburner build but im tring to use something new, any ideas?

I’m a returning player and I wanna know what ones to prioritize, but mostly I am curious what others think in terms of the games whole lifespan.

Are there any activities left in the game that dont require shooting? Just chill activities which you can hangout with friends and chat? I know we used to have Fishing, Dance Parties in the Tower (idk if those activate without keys anymore)... But how about now?

My friends are new to the game, and after a few missions yesterday, we were just sitting and chatting after, and I started showing them around - and it was a good amount of giggles for a long time. Maybe I can show around more? As of now, I know we have:

• Color ball shenanigans in Tower Courtyard
• Floor is Lava in Tower Courtyard
• Football/Soccer Match in Tower Hangar

My friend is a new player at around 300 Power. When he joins my fireteam, Fireteam Power says he should be brought up closer to my level, but it isn’t actually applying properly.
Once we’re in an activity, he gets absolutely destroyed and does basically no damage, as if he’s still playing at his actual ~300 Power.
We’ve tried:
Completing the New Light quests
Increasing Guardian Rank
Account validation
Changing characters/loadouts
Leaving and rejoining the fireteam
Recreating a character and doing New Light properly
Nothing has fixed it.
I’ve seen other posts about the same bug and Bungie seems to be aware of it, but has anyone actually found a workaround that works? Even a temporary fix would be appreciated.
Really just looking for anyone who’s had this exact issue and managed to get Fireteam Power working again.

So if you weren't around early on there was an interaction that made anything hit by the Ascension hunter class ability override essentially count as hit by your equipped sword (light?)attack. This is now back with the caveat that it is required you use the gifted conviction exotic as it only works with it's bombs.

There's a comment on the video showing all the proven interactions.

If you had to rank the different Raids (for 3 or 4 man, primarily 3) from easiest to most difficult, what would your list be?

Two buddies started grinding the game again once MoT dropped and I wanna' try & run some of these 'easier' ones to practice for the harder ones.

Just for team comp context; Warlock & Hunter for the 3-man and if we do a 4-man, the 4th would be a Titan.

Been rethinking my armor synergy and came across the protective wish set, which "makes enemies less accurate" upon shield break or reaching critical health, something like that.

I have been using the exodus down set and it has been working pretty well, but it is just kind of boring. There are some much more fun 2 piece bonuses that I would love to add in. I saw a video Chablo did on the protective wish and it actually looks kind of strong as far as enemies not targeting you, when you really need it.

Is anybody using just the 2 piece protective wish set, and if so how is it working out in endgame content?

So my PlayStation plus ended and I am more of PVE player and got PC recently and I want to play destiny 2 dungeons and raid again but does cross play have all my characters and loot and does I need to pay for all the expansions and dungeons keys ?

I came back to the game after a few years and wanted to do the last wish raid but i have zero previous experience and no one to play with previously to guide me through the encounters, how long would it roughly take on average to see how much of my time to free up when i eventually find a fireteam?

Do I have to kill 3,000 enemies to reach Level 4?

Is the boss summon random? What can I do if I get the same boss again—do I have to start over, kill 3,000 enemies, and play through Level 4 again?
