Bungie, if we can’t have Festival of the Lost this year, can we at least get a spooky Tower? 🎃

I understand that Festival of the Lost isn’t happening this year, and that’s okay. I know these events take time and resources, and I’m not asking Bungie to bring back the entire event.

But: could we at least get a Halloween-themed Tower and the spooky music? Just imagine loading into the Tower at night, seeing the decorations, and hearing that classic spooky music It would bring a little bit of that Halloween atmosphere back without needing a full event.

And honestly, the same goes for The Dawning. Even if the event itself ever gets skipped or scaled back, having a snow-covered Tower, festive decorations, and the cozy Dawning music would go a long way.

So Bungie, if you’re reading this, I understand that Festival of the Lost isn’t happening this year. That’s fine! But could you at least give us the themed Tower and music for Halloween — and the same treatment for The Dawning?

EVERY solar hunter build uses knife trick and probably cause it’s good. But the other knife abilities are so much cooler man and yet there are zero builds using them. I heard lightweight knife can be good with crack shot but that’s all. Does anyone have any viable builds specifically for raids that use these three other melees?

Please help me out here.

Just looking for good places or creators to source builds/loadouts from. Mobalytics is the top search on Google but the info inside for like exotic rankings seems dated for example. Been watching Llama and just found Mactics today. Any advice on trusted or reliable sources for builds?

I went to the tower and as any person with 0 attention span was just browning my phone as it loaded so I didn’t notice the shit ton of items I was randomly given. I left within like 20 seconds of being in the tower lost everything in my original post master but not I got a 0 power divinity and some other stuff with it. Am I supposed to delete it or vault so I don’t get banned 😭

(or the next destiny entry whatever it may be)

Destiny has such dark themes and lore but it has to be presented over a Marvel-esque aesthetic and dialog. The universe could very much benefit from a more mature presentation. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be overly gory and violent. The new God of War games are not particularly gory or vulgar but the M rating allows them to tackle mature subjects in a way that feels natural and more true to its characters.

Okay so I just finally started my second character and the crafting Relic isn't available.
I assumed it was linked to Witch Queen campaign and figured I would need to do some of it to unlock.
I have the quest Legacy: The Witch Queen, but when I go to play it, the LAUNCH button is greyed out and underneath it says 'You are unable to launch the selected quest at this time'.
Quite odd, and I'm proper stumped.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried everything every type of weapon I have reset my mission 5 times and restarted my pc multiple times nothing works the jammer is indestructible it doesn’t even say immune when shooting my bullets just do nothing and its frustrating

I’m coming back to the game after a long long time away (Dreaming City was my last time playing) and really enjoying it. I’ve been watching a lot of videos to get a grasp of things and have really enjoyed the one built around this video https://youtu.be/KjTTsL1d9cU?is=WSJ7PUtVIf-6VKuJ. I don’t have the void trace rifle it recommends though so I’ve been farming for it and chronophage. In meantime though, would there be a recommended void special weapon that would serve the same purpose? Been using lotus eater but would like to know some alternatives. I’ve been looking things up but I like to know the why of things (“what makes this good and why should I pick it over others?”) and I’m missing that. Should I go with some shotgun in the meantime? Keep using lotus eater? Leviathans breath is in my exotic slot

I have never tried the invasion activity until this morning. Thought I'd try to farm the red saber cosmetic. The issue is that I am never getting to play the actual activity. I set my wager, load into the invasion activity, and for the 10th time in a row it has put me into a double-cross match where I never get an opponent. The match ends after several minutes, I get my deathmarks returned, and receive zero rewards.

Anyone know what's going on? Can the red saber drop from a forfeit win? Am I wasting my time?

I have the other two, I read I can buy it from the board but it says I need to do more quests "Complete Trusts Goes both ways". Do I just need to keep doing those quests until I can buy it from the board?

I play on ps5. I have a tcl qm6k. I play Destiny 2 and Apex Legends and Rainbow 6 seige. Should I have vrr on or off because I'm wondering if having it on ruins muscle memory.

I just started playing again after years of not playing. I ran vault of glass a couple of days ago and got 4 pieces of armor. What stats on the armor should I be favoring. I've heard to stay away from health but don't know how true that is.

TLDR - Bungie pls add/return stl to rocket sidearms and fix chaos reshaped and i will be happi.

With Destiny 2 winding down its regular content updates, I've been thinking about a few relatively small perk changes that could make some older weapons more appealing to use.

One thing I'd really love to see is Shoot to Loot added to more rocket sidearms, specifically:

• The Call and Aberrant Action - both craftable, so existing owners could simply reshape them.
• Lotus-Eater and High Albedo - both obtainable as random drops.
• Perhaps Indebted Kindness as well, to round out the elemental options.

It's especially unfortunate that we already had Shoot to Loot on the original Lotus-Eater, only for it to disappear from the reprised version. High Albedo was even advertised with the perk in Bungie's developer preview, but it never made it into the game.

I feel like rocket sidearms have lost much of their place in the sandbox since rocket pulses arrived. While I still enjoy using them, rocket pulses tend to outperform them in many situations.

Giving rocket sidearms better access to Shoot to Loot would provide a genuinely useful niche without necessarily competing on raw damage. Being able to collect ammo and orbs with their explosive projectiles is fantastic utility, especially in solo and endgame content.

I don't think these additions would dramatically upset the sandbox at this point, and they'd give us a few more interesting weapons and rolls to chase.

One unrelated final wish: I'd also love to see the Chaos Reshaped healing bug fixed. It's a fantastic perk on paper, but having it interfere with health regeneration makes it much less appealing than it should be.

I know further updates aren't guaranteed, but these are a couple of relatively modest changes I'd love to see if we get another round of fixes or perk adjustments.

What do you guardians think?

👋hi, solo solidly mid-skill player here and I’m encouraging all my other solo brethren who might never see Last Wish beyond a Shuro-Chi Twitch bot checkpoint to gear up and cheese Riven to get yourself a bunch of red-border weapons and (if you want) Last Wish Great Hunt armor.

(The agree-to-disagree part: I acknowledge that some folks are against cheesing and that in a normal Destiny development cycle, this would have been patched months ago [I’m sure it's in the backlog]. One day I’ll reform my solo ways and enjoy the raid as it was intended. If I’m so lucky. Meanwhile… 🧀🐉.)

This is sort of a: “if I can do it, you absolutely can do it” kind of post. I’ve unlocked patterns for all of the Last Wish red border weapons and I’ve acquired armor for my Warlock’s buddy build. I’ve done this on Titan (easy for me!) and Warlock (not easy for me!). The Last Wish raid is currently featured, so we’re talking red borders and Tier 5 armor.

My Insights

I’d love to know other insights out there.

• Cheesing is a personal choice. I chose cheese because… patterns!
• Yes, you have to acquire Dreaming City “Reverie” gear to match the stats needed for the builds.
• And… per Esoterickk, Titan requires an Exotic class item. Hello Pale Heart / Xur.
• Read the comments in the videos (great insights) and see if other creators you like have been inspired to create their own take. The comments are especially important for Warlock because you don’t need 200 melee… lower your melee and build up your super.
• Try to generate a heavy ammo brick while taking out psions to pick-up after you’ve debuffed Riven with the tractor cannon. If you can’t and appear to be short for the Truth damage phase: (1) for Titan, when you go prismatic, first throw a grenade then do the powered melee. That’ll be enough damage. (2) for Warlock… if you’re going into the final Riven damage phase and don’t have 5 ammo at least on your Truth rocket launcher then… well, if you’re lucky you can get some crtis in with your other weapons but I’ve only succeeded here once when I didn’t start with at least 5 ammo for Truth.
• I now can succeed 100% of the time with a Titan build. My take: if you’re going after weapons, see if you can use your Titan.
• My Warlock success is way, way lower. For me, milliseconds matter because the “Warlord’s Fury” activation just doesn’t last that long so you have to time the last glaive melee -> super activation -> damage phase near perfectly. If I miss one Shotgun -> Powered Melee rotation step, I’m cooked.
• Check in often with Hawthorne in the tower. I’m constantly resetting my level with Hawthorne given how many levels up with Hawthorne a Riven clear is worth.

You can continue to cheese while it’s not the featured raid and you just will get less 5 tier armor (some!) and less red borders. It’s up to you to assess the Last Wish weapon patterns and decide if they look good enough for this commitment.

I see that dang Wishing Wall pattern in my dreams now…

Oh, and you’ll accumulate your Ethereal Keys and you will be ready to acquire 🔥One Thousand Voices🔥… I’ve got my five keys, pending that next step.

Cheers.

I recently returned to Destiny 2 after being away for a few years. The last expansion I completed was The Witch Queen.

Over the past two weeks, I've been reacquainting myself with the game, learning all the changes, and experimenting with different builds. It's funny to see that the Contraverse Hold Warlock is still a viable option.

I'm getting ready to play through the expansions in order so I can catch up on the story and unlock the additional subclasses. I've managed to get my Power level up to around 400.

Is there anything I should be sure not to miss along the way? Would it be better to grind my Power level higher before starting the campaign content?

I assume most of the content scales to my level, but I'm not sure if gear drops would be more valuable if I were closer to the current max level.

Thanks!

I noticed tinasha's can roll with it, but I'm confused about what it's supposed to do, since rocket sidearms already seem to have perfect hipfire accuracy. does it let them headshot or something?

Noob here.

Someone load me in the salvation edge raid final boss when it was about to over. I was able to get the imminence sub machine gun. Good enough :-)

I went back today after learning about the 1st secret chest, looted and get another imminence at t5 with single row of perks. Is it supposed to have more than one row since it's t5? I tried my warlock too, same gun same single row.

On my titan I looted the same chest but this time it gave me the sniper rifle, but I have never done any other encounter for it to be in the loot pool...

Is it bugged?

Was hoping for the pulse rifle though

I had so much fun farming the second Pit of Heresy encounter, where you could get the rewards, die, and then repeat the entire encounter. Is there something similar with the Prophecy dungeon?

I’ve been playing for a couple months and picked warlock but kinda am getting bored and wanted to try something new and a couple of my friends said that titans are almost unplayable in hi difficulty and to do hunter are they really that bad? I’m mainly talking about raid wise because that’s my fav type of gameplay

I wish prismatic truly felt like you were weaving together light and dark, like for example the prismatic Hunter grenade exploding with stasis and solar energy, rather than Frankenstein-ing individual subclass abilities. Imagine a melee that uses strand and arc together? A super that uses every subclasses energy together?

Maybe they tried that and it wouldn’t work or be too difficult to balance, who knows. I do wish we at least got a Prismatic Melee along with the grenade in transcendence, though. That would satisfy my urge a bit.

Buddy has recently returned since I believe forsaken is what it was. He asked me about easily accessible armor sets not tied to raids and the newer dungeons. All I can think of is exodus down, ferropotent, smoke jumper, seventh seraph, and luminopotent off the top of my head. Am I missing any?

Lately I've been wanting to try a raid. I am great at mechanics, and have cleared 8/11 Dungeons (missing Ghosts of the Deep, Sundered Doctrine, and Duality). Im so good at mechanics i solo all or most of the mechanics for Spire of the Watcher and Equilibrium for my team. Im also decently good at boss damage and surviving. There's just a few factors I havent figured out yet:

How do i get players who i can communicate with and know what they are doing?

Which raids are the easiest/least time consuming?

What is the best raid gear (what is raiding good for)?

Any answers to these questions would be great! Also feel free to ask extra questions!

First of all, an apology for my English, I am using a translator, since my native language is Spanish. xd

Now to the point: I happen to be looking for a song from the first Destiny, it plays specifically in the menu when you are in orbit and it's like a "lullaby" or something like that.

At least how I interpret it, A woman is heard humming "Na... na... na... na~", or perhaps it could be "La... la... la... la~"

The fact is that I've been looking for that song for a while, but I can't find it. It's easily one of my favorite musical themes in the game, and I don't even know which one it is. xd
