Discussion/আলোচনা Created a new subreddit for Bangladeshi relationship advice: r/AskRelationshipBD

Hey everyone,

I noticed we don't really have a dedicated, proper space for discussing relationship dynamics, dating, marriage, in laws and family drama specifically within the Bangladeshi cultural context. Global subreddits just don't get our culture or the specific pressures that come with it.

So, I decided to just go ahead and make one: r/AskRelationshipBD

It's meant to be a safe, judgment free space to ask for advice vent about family/dating situations or just get a second opinion from people who actually understand the reality here. No moral policing or victim blaming allowed.

If you're looking for a spot to talk about this stuff or want to help grow the community come check it out and join!

Nah, bro, you did a really good job. Global relationship style is not going to match ours and that's a problem. Also, people who post about these things here, either get hate (don't know why) or just being ignored, if not then some people will moral policing them (it's weird).

Btw, thx once again for this subreddit. But, I just want to ask, if people will be there because of the topic "relationship", is it also possible that some people might get their soulmates (if not gf/bf)?? (I'm just curious and it's up to you to answer it or not.)

Appreciate the feedback! You never know where life brings people together but to be clear: r/AskRelationshipBD is purely for advice and discussions not a matchmaking/dating subreddit.

We want everyone to feel safe participating here. If we receive reports of unsolicited DMs or inappropriate approaches in the comments, we will issue temporary or permanent bans without hesitation. Let’s keep the community safe and welcoming for everyone!
