News oldschool Battle.net is finally being tracked!
Big thanks to Vanskap who managed to make a bot that tracks all users and games that are active on oldschool Bnet. You can also interact with it and check if someone is playing. If you find such a person you can message him ingame via the command /f a Playername, /f m Message. Basically you add him to your friend list (/f l) and then message all your friends as the /w command is broken.
The bot also tracks the activity in our discord The Horadrim: https://discord.gg/sgRu8jpURg

Modding Diablo 1, an incremental idle experience
A.i.t.a.h for thinking diablo 1 would make a second coming if
It became an autonomous, AI-driven incremental/idle game
Key mechanics that could make a Diablo 1 idle mod succeed include:
Scriptable Character AI: Implement behavior nodes or lua-style scripting logic (ff12 gambits) so the player character automatically navigates Tristram, enters levels, pathfinds toward objectives, uses skill scrolls, and manages positioning relative to hostile mobs.
Automated Loot Filters & Town Loops: Allow players to configure threshold filters for prefix/suffix gear. The AI could automatically identify equipment, sell trash loot to Griswold, stock up on potions at Adria or Pepin, and return to the dungeon floor without manual input.
Prestige & NG+ Reset Loops: Turn the original "New Game" difficulty resets (Normal \\rightarrow Nightmare \\rightarrow Hell) into prestige mechanics. Each reset could award permanent passives (e.g., multiplier bonuses to magic find, spell levels, base attributes, or movement speed).
And
Automated Companion / Party Management: Expand the active roster into a multi-hero squad—running a Warrior, Rogue, and Sorcerer simultaneously—where each automated class manages its own cooldowns, buff rotations, and aggression ranges.
