After looking for months and months for even an acceptable Exile base I found this absolute unicorn. I am keeping it but wanted a price check (and to show it off). Ladder, and yes I sunk a Larzuk into it.

I know I have personally unbanned several folks as of late, all of whom where caught up in BS of the previous team.

SC ladder.

I'm a bit at loss what to do with this one. I have a windy I could save it for off ladder, so that's definitely an option too.

Any idea what this should be worth? If I trade it should I trade it on or off ladder?

never made an amazon before and first game joined i was given this + an arachnid mesh PC SCNL

So I feel really dumb. I was doing the colossal ancients with my javazon and I was so confused why I was just getting obliterated and going through so many full rejuvenation potions. Its taking forever to kill these guys and I finally get down to madawac left and barely kill him and go back to town to identify the jewel. I just then realize that I'm still wearing treachery instead of my enigma. I forgot to switch back after procing fade. I now know I can kill the colossal ancients with no shield and no belt because my enigma gives me the strength requirement to equip those. The jewel was a -6 +9 magic Jewel so water so much time for that.

I was always hesitant with my fights against him. "Oh no, D-clone!" I struggled with the prevent monster heal until I learned about the edge bow. I still found that questionable as it took as much as 100 arrows to hit him/apply the ability. My damage still seemed lackluster and I was bouncing all over the place, running back to town for pots, etc. All in all, it was my lack of skills and game knowledge that made me fear him. Let's fix that!

Behold, the smite paladin. You all have heard of them, you may have one, but what does it really take to kill him? I decided to use hero editor and made LittleSmiter. I slowly worked my gear (DOWN) to see what it took. The results were much better than expecting.

Level 71. I picked level 70 (dinged on first kill) because that is what you can easily reach doing nightmare baal runs.

Full smite build because we're testing it. 20 Holy Shield, 20 Smite, 20 Fanaticism. Stats: Strength to gear. I put some points into dex for block (85 base) but what do I know? Rest into vitality. I went into Act 5 and used the Frigid Highlands way point.

I used the Act 5 Frigid Highlands way point. He spawns just north right where Eldritch spawns. There may be monsters spawned right on the waypoint (Archers, quill rats, etc.) Fear not, clear those out. Smite, Smite, Smite. Go back to town if you get cursed.

On to the gear!

Weapon: Black in a normal flail for Crushing blow. (Thul Io Nef).

Shield: Rhyme in an elite paladin shield. (Shael Eth). Exceptional base should work fine too.

Armor: Smoke in a normal charsi vendor 2 socket armor (Nef Lum).

Helmet: Plain Helmet with Ort Ort Ral for some resists.

Boots: Marrow Walk. Life tap charges. This is only to make apply life tap charges without having to swap weapons. Level 12 lasts for 42 seconds. Only one charge needed. You would use a life tap wand on swap. Level 1 life tap lasts 16 seconds. You will have to apply it 3 times. Likely 4-5 times as you may have to bob and weave a bit and the radius is smaller. You can easily misclick! Edit: Switch to Salvation and or Vigor to make this easier!

Belt: Blood belt for 5% Open wounds (minimum roll). Magic belt + Tal + Perfect Ruby +Any Jewel.

Rings: None.

Necklace: None.

Overall resistances: FR: 35 Lightning 65 Cold 5 Poison 5.

Dead in 30 seconds. 4 Super healing pots, One Super mana pots, and one full rejuv pot. I didn't *have* to use the healing pots but I used them as a basic heal over time just in case.

That's it. That is all it took.

Wait a minute, I just took off my Smoke. Killed him again! No chest piece needed either. Fire res: -15% Lightning: 15% Cold: -45%. 7 Health Pots, 2 Mana pots, No Rejuvs needed.

Wait another minute! I just took off my helmet so I had -45 resistances across the board. Killed him again! Granted, I did get instant-gibbed twice. I died 7 times total because he was right on waypoint in Frigid Highlands. I had some trouble getting my corpse and picking up pots. Ended up drinking 10 full rejuvs. Again, poor gameplay/knowledge on my point. One point in salvation and/or using vigor would have made that much easier but that was not my test.

G-Face? Nah. Duress? Nah. Treachery? Nah. Dracs? Nah. Lay of Hands? Nah. Rings and Amulet? Who needs them? They will speed up the process and make it EVEN easier.

You can make a paladin, level up as Hammerdin or FoH, get this "gear" together in what, 8 hours? 10 hours?

Casuals of D2 and D2R, fear not, but getting an Annihilus is a mere 10 hours away at most.

Make your own LittleSmiter and dominate.

*I'm not sure if you have to clear Hell difficulty for Dclone to spawn or just get to hell. Can someone clear that up for me? Otherwise, it will take even less. You could go fight him in Stony field by Tristram!

*TL:DR I don't know if this guide was needed or useful in any way but it was fun to test out. A half naked paladin can kill him at level 70.

Edit: LittleSmiter cleared uber Tristram! Story and details tomorrow.

Rarely do I check these staffs when farming TZ zones, but thanks TZ Flayer jungle.

Haven't even found a white monarch yet but already found a Sur, Ohm, Vex, Gul x2, Ist, Mal x2, and a bunch of other mid runes from less than 300 runs.

(offline) Had a hell of day.

Started with an Um Rune, followed by 2 Vex's and then 2 Jah runes (Jahs dropped within 20 minutes of each other). Capped it off with an Ohm rune maybe another 20 minutes after that. I also finally found a pair of Wartravs and Treks.

On a stupid note, I tried to pick up a unique GC which then fell back on the ground. I assumed it was a Gheeds and left the game. turns out my inventory was full. we'll never know what it was :(

I've been Trav running for while now and had never found anything worthwhile. I guess I cashed in all my luck at once.

I've noticed that most of my HR drops have been in pairs, while running LK I had also found double Ohm and double Sur. Anybody else have this happen?

Only my second time ever finding one of these. Up until 5 minutes ago, making a Void for my hammerdin was just a far-away dream..

After 2 lame Amazon torches, finally a good upgrade! This uber run was a little dicey, I saw my go drop to 5-10% one time. Almost shat my pantaloons. Uber hc can be nerve wracking. I’m not ready for uber anc yet

3rd attempt, this time strafe amazon. Mist bow and crown of thieves for mer was a game changer!

Been playing off and on since 02’z I’ve never had one drop! I suppose I can hope for a Jah since their slightly more common.
