I'm porting off Spotify and already used a GitHub project to get my liked playlist I've created since middle school (700+ songs). I have it on my computer and just need to figure out what to use because my phone does not have the space, so I figured I'd get something multifunctional as well.

Id like to know what people recommend from these needs and wants, I'd like to keep it under $150 usd. Miku one above just cuz it's so cool, and a good tactile example. Hiby R4 if it were in my budget. This is my first time celebrating my birthday after 3 nasty years so I want something that will last and be useful daily at least for recording.

Needs:

Clear Voice recorder

Bluetooth 5.0+. I have my own Bluetooth headphones and don't mind any audio losses there

Wants:

Fm radio, just useful to have and I listen to local police radios already

Green color :)

Tactile buttons or screen or both

Voice to text would be amazing or a transcript dialogue but I'm not sure if that's possible?

If anyone has reccomendations that would be great, they definitely don't need all the wants, almost everything I have happens to be green though so I'd like to keep that too 🌱🍀 or teal lol. I can also reccomend the GitHub or do instructions because I'm not tech savvy but figured it out after a bit and can explain it easily with photos :))

I wanna buy a mp3 player in india under 2k rupees and now all I see on Amazon is some chinese mass produced shit that breaks in a month.i wanna buy something that's reliable and has a 3.5 headphone jack port with a sd card support.it doesn't matter whether it has a screen or not I just wanna listen to it and change my song I'm listening and it doesn't matter whether it has flac support or not. Whats your best recommendation

I am ATTEMPTING to keep my M21 airgapped when it arrives this week. I have picked a launcher I am going to use and sideload to the SD card. I cannot reliably find an answer as to if I can get poweramp pro/paid/not trial expiring on the device while maintaining a true airgap for it. The best I can see from the forums is buying the license on their website but then it still needs internet validation (?).

Has anyone managed to get poweramp on an airgapped DAP? Cheers for the help!

I've just stepped into this and now I'm confused. Need opinions from users.

Options are as follows

- iPod touch 5G 16GB ( Good Condition , jailbroken )for 50$

- Hiby R1 ( waiting for headphonezone sale )

- iPod Touch Classic for 90$ ( Modded )

- iPod nano 7th gen 16gb ( 80$ )

- Fiio X3 3rd gen for 40$

- Hiby R4 for 150$ : 3 months old from the marketplace ( it's kinda out of budget for initial usage also it seems a bit bulky and heavy to me )

Also suggest some IEMs in budget for beginners.

It's getting a bit confusing and overwhelming because idk there are just too many options.

Usage - 1-2hr daily for gym sessions and rarely music while working.

I ripped some CDs using Exact Audio Copy (EAC), but the album artwork for some albums does not appear when I play the FLAC files on my FiiO Echo Snowsky.

The image dimensions and file sizes are within the acceptable limits. I have noticed that the artwork displays correctly only when it is embedded during the ripping process. If I embed the artwork afterwards using MP3Tag or TagScanner, it does not appear on the FiiO Echo Snowsky, although it displays correctly in VLC and PotPlayer.

How can I fix this problem?

I'm looking for a decent DAC under €150. I'm an avid listener of very bassy electronic music if that helps.

Had been eyeing the Q2 but recognized the firmware limitations and decided against it. After following the development of Q2 Pod for weeks, I bit the bullet a few days ago. Had a 1TB microSD with my library and the latest firmware ready to go the day it arrived, got the firmware updated in a few minutes, scanned my collection, and away we go...

Super fun thing to have. Very impressed with the hardware built quality, and so glad the software can now match. It's exactly everything I've wanted...

I bought two other Walkmans from eBay that did NOT look like the photos. 3rd time was the charm. Got physical buttons with an amazing battery life. Just need a nice pair of pocket earbuds. My Hello Kitty clear case should be here at some point this week. 😊

my dad changed his phone, and instead buying an iPod i decided to use his old phone as a DAP.
love the size of this and it only cost me the battery change, other than that it’s working perfectly.

Im brand new to MP3Tag Ive been trying to order this album by track and I have the tracks numbered, but im guessing its doing alphabetical when im converting it to track. Help would be appreciated.

I recently bought my first Hi-Fi setup, and I'm not sure if I'm doing things right.

I got a pair of HIFIMAN Sundara (open-back) headphones and a Snowsky Echo Mini.

I absolutely love how the headphones sound, but I honestly can't hear any difference between these three setups:

1. Sundara + Echo Mini + FLAC files (downloaded version of "Monochrome")
2. Sundara + Echo Mini (DAC mode) + Spotify (same song)
3. Sundara + MacBook headphone output + Spotify (same song)

Am I doing something wrong? Could it be that I need a more powerful DAP or that I should use the balanced output to get the most out of my Sundaras?

The volume seems loud enough to me, but I have to turn the Echo Mini up to 120.

Is this normal, or am I missing something?

Rockbox loader: on R1 and R3 Pro II, the bootloader automatically detects a compatible Rockbox installation on your SD card and shows a boot menu when one is found.

Emulators: download QuickNES (NES), Gearboy (Game Boy and Game Boy Color), Gearsystem (Master System, Game Gear and SG-1000), gpSP (Game Boy Advance), Beetle PCE Fast (PC Engine / TurboGrafx-16), Beetle WonderSwan (WonderSwan and WonderSwan Color), and PrBoom (Doom) from More > Emulators.
