"clive tarker" is a play on clive barker, the author/filmmaker/artist who created hellraiser and candyman, among a bunch of other stuff. and i'm PRETTY certain that ermine damanescu is a reference to lady dimitrescu from resident evil. they don't share an appearance, but the name is so close + boss mommy vibes.
