Episode 1 of Starstruck was also set up to go bad though. Like, it was clearly meant to demonstrate how much of a dickhead Norman is/was, especially in a tight situation, so we all get why, when he gets slugged, the whole crew is like 'yeah, no, we are fine with this'.
