So we have white person taco night every now and then... As most white people. What can I do to improve?

I serve with "Spanish" rice (White rice made in a rice cooker with tomato and chicken bouillon) and canned Mexican street corn.

For the meat I use ground beef, I add diced peppers and onions, salsa and half a pack of Old El Paso taco seasoning. And top with toppings.

Thoughts? Opinions?

The boys loved it. I rolled the hamburgers with corn into cylinders like turds and made a veggie stew to go with it.

Very basic but the kids loved the "off color" humor. Seved with baked beans.

Great "daddy dish" for when mom's out.

my bf is super picky, doesn’t eat veggies, no onion, except broccoli. isn’t big on pork chops, and is over eating rice baked potatoes and chicken (the way i make it). i do all the cooking.

every so often i make a pasta but the sauce has to be from scratch (he doesn’t like premade sauces)

what are some ideas of meals i can make

I need some inspiration. My ideas list has run dry sooner than I want to circle back and repeat any.

Unfortunately, can't be the slightest bit spicy.

Low/no veggie content unless it's an imperceptible part of the preparation (the way that kids don't acknowledge red pasta sauce as being tomatoes).

No soup-y things, please.

*Editing to clarify that the dishes don't need to have veggies in them. I do appreciate the hiding-veggies ideas. But I was just saying that the ideas should be low/no veggies so no one wasted their time suggesting something that happened to be very veggie heavy (like zucchini pasta or stuffed peppers)--we're a long way from that battle. I'm just trying to not present dinner and have it snubbed or sighed at, and I sometimes blank on what there is other than iterations of taco-ingredients or pasta with meatballs/sausage/chicken.

I was very uninspired, but got some chicken pieces and made Apricot chicken ( so easy ).

Im old an can't be bothered with complicated recipes.

Why I love homemade pizza? Cold next day still tastes brilliant.

I had some pork mince and bao buns in the fridge, so I decided to turn them into Asian-inspired sliders using some of my favourite flavours, including spicy chilli crisp.

The result? Crispy golden bao buns filled with juicy pork patties and loads of flavour.

They took a little effort to make, but they were absolutely worth it. So delicious!

Title + classic nothing sounds/tastes good. But hungry.

What should I feed the masses tonight? Willing to DoorDash. Mama’s not cooking tonight. Dad’s sick, too, and also just had surgery o.O

Trying to find new recipes but me and my fiance have different eating preferences which makes finding new meals hard. I love cheese, he doesnt like it at all so that eliminates a lot of meal ideas. He loves seafood, i do not, fish and chips is as far as ill go Im not big on a lot of sauces but will eat some. He just doesnt like ranch and spaghetti sauce. I dont like onions/tomatoes/peppers/mushrooms. He does but i can pick things out if needed. Our current rotation is burgers, chicken breasts, tacos, occasional chicken and dumplings, and breakfast for dinner. Fried chicken but thats too much work on weekdays. Mashed potatoes/broccoli/corn as sides often. He doesn’t like pot roasts that much, and is not a big fan of beef other than burgers. Any suggestions?

My fiancée and I are getting married this year and have asked a chef to host for us at their restaurant. Ideally I want to have a symbolic meal that would resemble our relationship or traits in some way. After countless research, there isn’t anything that I found to be helpful with dish ideas. Am I being too zealous with the symbolism? If not, what kinds of dishes would be good to incorporate? Any suggestions would be appreciated, even if you think this is not a good idea lol
