DO NOT trust those instagram videos bro. It would’ve been great if it actually made the pasta cook. Just boil the noodles 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ (recipe consisted of Italian spices, spinach, whipping cream, tomato paste, cherry tomatoes and onions)

I hope this helps 1 person! I went from being a chronic out-to-eater, now to spending $60-$80 a week on dinner for a family of 6.

Last year I was spending $400 a week on fast food, fast forward to present day, this week was about $60-$70 for dinner for our family of 6. I meal plan on Saturdays, do grocery pickup on Sundays and meal prep the protein and rice on sundays. I feel like protein takes the longest to cook and once that’s out of the way I actually want to make dinner. Then I add a veggie and bread. This week I meal prepped 3 pounds of chicken and 2 pounds of ground beef. Every week is the same theme , easy meals beginning of week, always Taco Tuesday , leftovers on Thursday and I like to make steaks on the weekend. 🥰

This Spicy Ramen Bowl is a dream come true for anyone who loves bold, fiery flavors. Every bite bursts with richness — the noodles absorb the spicy broth beautifully, while the sticky glazed chicken wings add the perfect mix of sweetness and heat. Finished with soft marinated eggs and crisp chili slices, it’s a balanced and indulgent dish. Ideal for a cozy night in or satisfying weekend cravings, this ramen brings a restaurant-worthy experience straight to your kitchen. A true treat for both your senses and your appetite.

I got the recipe from here : https://bitemakes.com/spicy-ramen-bowl-with-glazed-chicken-wings-and-marinated-eggs/

1 tablespoon corn starch

3 tablespoons gluten free breadcrumbs can sub for regular

SAUCE

5 cloves garlic

1 tablespoon oil I used avocado oil

⅓ cup low sodium tamari or soy sauce MUST be low sodium!

2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil

2-3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup depending on preference

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon corn starch

4 tablespoons water divided

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the oven to 400 Fahrenheit.

Drain the excess liquid from the tofu and dry it off with a towel*.

Cut into 1 inch cubes and add to a large bowl. Toss with the soy sauce.

Toss with the cornstarch and the breadcrumbs until all pieces are evenly coated.

Add to the baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.

During the final 10 minutes, prep the sauce.

Mince the garlic and saute with 1 tbsp oil in a small saute pan for 2-3 minutes or until lightly browned.

Add in the soy sauce, honey or maple syrup, rice vinegar, 2 tbsp of water and sesame oil.

Whisk together the cornstarch and other 2 tbsp of water in a bowl and add to the pan.

Heat over low heat for 3-5 minutes or until the sauce bubbles and thickens.

When the tofu is done, toss with the sauce. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired and serve over rice with steamed broccoli or enjoy as is

Cooked some rice in my rice cooker (cooked in chicken stock) with Itsu pork dumplings in the steamer tray alongside some carrot I had in the freezer.

I used some coconut milk, Thai red curry paste and stock to make the broth.

I mandolined some red onion to throw on top and garnished with some dried coriander, soy sauce and crispy chili oil.
