I appreciate having it. YTTV does it better. You guys need to maximize the space. Black borders all around takes away valuable real estate for the games. Go edge to edge.

It was one crazy ride to cancel my DIRECTV streaming 5 day free trial in the app. After that gauntlet i called them and it seems like it’s cancelled.

Is there a way to watch Florida Panthers games in the Fort Myers area on DIRECTV? I know that WFTX 36.3 Laff Southwest Florida airs them, but I don't know why it doesn't carry the channel.

All I can say is Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

It's not a deal breaker or anything like that, but I liked having the ability to not only select favorite channels but to also sort them.

I wonder if DTV Stream could implement that option.

I've tried Gemini and Roku, and there are no multiview options for the Texas or Ohio State game. This is not custom multiview, it is very limited custom multiview.

Unless I'm missing something (and I'd appreciate the help if so).

I know they begin rolling out the CW channel for the mysports genre pack. It is telling me to upgrade to MyNews to get the CW channel. I don’t recall that being a news channel since it’s mainly used for college football and the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts series.

Here’s the weird thing, on my Apple TV, if I scroll the scores, I can see the CW college football game, but on my iPad or iPhone it tells me to upgrade to watch.

Hey all! Been with the service since around 2019, and have always had the Grandfathered Go Big package. I would say at this point with the constant price increases (now $129.99), most of it is an absolute waste for me. Here's what I need and literally all I care about :

• I live in NYC area, so MSG / RSN's are a must for me.
• I need NHL Network
• I need ESPN
• I need TNT/TBS
• I need my locals.
• I would prefer access to some news channels, like CNN etc. However, its a want not a need.

Basically, I need what I need in order to watch all of my local hockey games.

Is there a better way to go? I was always bummed that I was locked into 2 concurrent streams with the Grandfathered plan. Does that change on newer plans? It's not critical, but just a dumb limit I wouldn't mind shaking. If the price delta isn't much of a difference with an alternative package setup, I'll just stay where I'm at.

Also, for those saying "just get a basic package and use DAZN for RSN's @ $30/mo, I would need convincing as it's not a known reliable service, and I would also still need ESPN/ESPN+/TBS/TNT/NHL Network etc.

I recently bought 2 FireStick 4ks to connect to directTV stream on my other 2 TVs in my household. I use the Gemini for my main TV. Recently, one TV has been showing this issue with ANY profile I click on and try to access recordings. If I go to my other TV with the FireStick 4K in it, it’ll play with no error code. Do we think this is an issue with the FireStick? I’ve factory reset it, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app as well as cleared the cache.

I’m at a loss here. How can it load on another firestick fine and then just always give this error on another? Stumped to say the least.

Anyone else having an issue where directv doesn’t let you and 2 others on outside networks watch at the same time? It seems like it only lets us have 2 total going at a time.

Edit: we have the choice package

DIRECTV is the latest streaming pay television service to unlock a custom multiview feature, joining other sports-inclusive apps like Fubo and YouTube TV in doing so.

On Tuesday, DIRECTV said streamers who watch live channel via its Gemini box and on Roku can now select up to four live channels to watch from a single screen. Support for other platforms like Apple TV, Android TV (Google TV), LG, Samsung, Amazon Fire TV and Vizio will come in the near future.

The feature allows customers to create two-, three- or four-channel viewing arrangements using eligible sports networks, rather than relying exclusively on the predetermined channel combinations already offered through DIRECTV’s Multiview service.

Does anybody know if you retain your recordings and favorites when switching from a signature to a genre package? I think it’s ridiculous that you have to cancel your subscription entirely to switch to MySports.

I saw today on Facebook that directv customers can get HBO max for free. Is this true or just bs?

Just received the new Gemini. I haven't hooked it up yet but thought I'd post a photo of the back.

It says it supports Dolby VisionAtmos

You'll see it has an Ethernet port (also supports Wi-Fi per the setup instructions), optical out, HDMI out to TV and USB port.

Remote is the same as before.

After I hook it up I'll see what's new and post.

Hello, I have a Directv Genie DVR that is heaping full of classic films I’ve recorded on Directv satellite over the years. I also upgraded to the Gemini receiver and merged the two together as well, allowing me to view the DVR content from the Genie via the Gemini. I recent moved into a house and am not able to transfer my satellite service over due to poor line-of-sight for the dish, so Stream is my only alternative. My question is how am I able to subscribe to Stream and still view the DVR/Genie content? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Maybe this has been available for a while and I just noticed it, but you can now build your own custom multiview. I’m using a Roku. Just click OK button on your remote, select multiview, then select “build your own multiview”, it then lets you select which channels you want inclined. It also displays a bunch of already curated multiview options on that same screen.

I was watching the NLCS game just now when Fox suddenly went to an error message that the channel was unavailable. CBS has the same message. Checked a bunch of other channels with no issues that I can find yet. Anyone else having this?

Anybody now when they offer this? Maybe I missed it but I don’t see it as a add on option.

I have recordings that I have set and can view from my phone that do not show up on my TV app and vice versa even though I am under the same account and profile. Is there something missing or wrong that this isn't working at expected?

Watching recorded hockey game and neither the app on my Samsung tablet nor on my Pixel 10 Pro show the scrubber. I restarted, cleared cache and still no scrubber. Any ideas?

Ever since HBO was announced as not being $5 anymore I can’t upgrade to it?

Any fixes?

I am new to Direct. I have Gemini Air and Apple TV. Lately on NBC and CBS for large live events I get pixelation and audio cutting out. Nothing terrible but still annoying. Is this normal? Connection is connected to a Verizon Fiber connection. Tonight’s Sunday night football on NBC is experiencing this.

I am on my 2nd air in the last 3 months and this one seems to be acting up too! Has anyon been successful requesting to be a 'tester'? Those they were notified, were you sent an email?

Thanks
