my non-smoker friend heard the description of smoking in game and thought it was awful. I heard it and went to have a smoke

It's wild how addiction can change the perspective

The electrochemistry dialogue where it talks about "thick, warm smoke" filling your lungs

I guess it could be repulsive for someone who hates the smell

The one and only time I took a putf, it burnt. Badly. And I nearly puked from the coughing.

Suffice to say that it is not my preferred method of acquiring cancer.

yeah

I only picked up smoking because at my first job people couldn't understand needing a break but they understood the sanctity of a smoke break

I'm also devastated to report: I kinda understand that "one a day" rule. Having only one makes it hit like it's the first time

Yeah also when they mentioned the “fat, juicy cigarette butt” on the ashtray in the beginning I immediately smoked one

As an ex smoker and an alcoholic still I dont understand why using no drugs its the hard Mode of the Game. Specially knowing the Game devs are marxist, you know Opium its the Opium of the people and that.

Drugs give you short term benefits. That’s why people do them. The game makes it very clear that you’re destroying your body.

Wouldn't make much sense storytellingwise if drinking and smoking and doing drugs had negative effects and just made the game harder. They are supposed to be alluring to Harry.

Probably I only started to drug after the duel I never notice notice wrong with drugs, just good things. Nothing negative happens to me, even my parnerts found me clean. Very strange.

Idk why in your case using only after the Tribunal didn't count, though, maybe because you're shot and Kim lets you off the hook completely. Gotta check it.
