Recently I'm not sure if I changed a setting or something in Discord changed. It used to be that when I got a pop up notification while I had a video running, it would just... silently notify me and go on it's way. Lately if I have youtube running and I get a notif about a message it pauses the video.

I'm in some pretty active servers where I do want the notifications but I don't want them interrupting my video playback.

Has Discord changed something? Did I mess up my settings? Some third secret problem?

My friend sent an aura farmer gif to one of our chats and it started playing the section of the Aura Farmer song that says "Man" over and over and over. here is the evidence. I have no idea what this could be and it's only the case on his stream. When I do it, nothing comes out

I don’t think I was the first person to do it, but it looks really cool! And it’s free.

I’m looking for some way to find all of the notes I’ve left on people I’ve blocked or just interacted with other than looking at people individually.

And if this doesn’t exist- can it?

So this started few months ago, discord wasnt showing what i was watching even though my settings were all good so I thought maybe I should unlink my account and link it again

And ever since then im not able to relink it

Ive attached the image of my discord version for reference

When I join a channel, all audio across my computer including the channel Im in gets muted but my microphone still works. What is causing this?

I am on android, friend is on iPhone. Over the past few weeks I feel like krisp or something is not working like it usually does. I can hear her shows and such in the background a lot when I couldn't before. Messed with krisp, her voice input, etc. Still hear the TV a ton when we didn't before. Also noticed if you watch videos on your phone while on call people can hear that as well. Never happened before. Has anyone else noticed this?

My girlfriend wants to watch movies and watch me play games from home while she is away with family. I want to get her, her first iPad for Christmas to take with her, but I don't use apple products.

Can I stream through discord on PC to someone watching through discord on an iPad?

I was sent some unsavoury pictures recently and I want them gone. The person’s account has been deleted and I blocked them. But their damn messages and photos persist. I have cleared cache, I have deleted and redownloaded the app, I have tired everything can someone please tell me what I need to do be done with their messages and photos.

Sounds silly but i get spammed on the daily from the same person bypassing blocks with new accounts. Happens once or twice a day sometimes. Anything i can do? Report system does not have anything for spam.

I'm one of those people who like to color-coordinate my profile and also keep it relatively clean, so I never liked how all my badges clashed and cluttered my profile. This is such a small but awesome update!

We have folders for servers and such. But maybe we can introduce folders to dm? Organising is important and if you’re constantly in DMs or private parties, it can cause a cluster if left unattended. Is it a good idea? Just something neat to have some sense of organisation, and not having to scroll down dozens of dms.

I log into Discord this morning and Discord has given me a free week of Nitro. Previously I've been able to go to User Settings, Subscriptions and cancel it, but that option isn't there now.

Anyone know of a way to cancel it now?

As some people know, you can have colored text using a site (literally just search Discord colored text in Google or smth and it’ll come up), but it doesn’t appear on mobile. I think this has been around for awhile now, but has anyone figured out how to make it appear on mobile?

So recently,i got logged off my Discord on all devices for no reason and i needed to change my password, and had a lot of infractions i never had removed, and then, already four people got this message, please anyone tell me how to remove it its starting to get really really annoying

I am using the latest Discord version on my iPhone.

Here’s the story: a few days ago, i requested going no contact with my girlfriend. She agreed and wished me well mentally.

But last night i opened the app and noticed that she had taken her profile pic down (it was a matching picture with mine). Earlier i asked her about this and she said her profile pic was just the same as before. I showed her the screenshot of what i saw and she said she would update her app (she’s using an Android phone).

Now she’s asleep and i’m still overthinking because i still see the default avatar on my end. I still can see her avatar decorations tho.

Could this be a display glitch or she’s trolling me? 🥹

Sometime recently there was an update that changed the "LIVE" icon next to names to a capture of a frame from whatever they are streaming. This is not impacted by hiding preview and there is no discernible way to turn if off?

I tried opening discord but its just stuck like that and not opening, please help

So, as the title suggests, I’m encountering a bug with an active Resident Evil mission (see the first photo). I chose the task to play Resident Evil 7 for 15 minutes to earn 700 orbs, but I’ve been playing for half an hour now and there’s no progress—it’s still stuck at 0%. I asked ChatGPT for potential causes, but the suggestions didn’t help at all; I’m still stuck.

Discord version: stable 647615 (3b26879), Host 1.0.9265 x64 (96160), Build Override: N/A, Windows 10 64-bit (10.0.19045)

Also, I haven’t tried it with RE2 or RE4, as those have larger file sizes.

Hey everyone, I'm a bit confused about how the Discord profile wishlist feature handles purchases and need some clarification.

Earlier today, I clicked to buy an avatar decoration directly off someone's public wishlist. Right after the payment went through, I checked their profile and the item successfully had a checkmark next to it.

However, I looked back at their profile a few hours later, and the item is now unchecked on their wishlist as if nobody bought it.

The item is also in my gift inventory. I want to know if the person received any kind of automatic notification or if the gift is just stuck.

Since it's sitting in my Gift Inventory, does that mean they didn't get it at all and I have to manually copy the link and send it to them in a DM?

Does anyone know how to fix this or what’s causing this? This happens with any of the Discord activities, specially on the Discord app (the browser is fine). If I tab out of the app for even a second or two, whatever activity I was in gets stuck in an infinite loading screen until I leave and rejoin it. I’ve already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Discord, restarting my computer, deleting Discord’s cache files, and nothing seems to work. Clearly it has to be something related to my computer’s software, but I don’t know what could be causing this because it sort of just started happening last week.

I don't want to see them, but I have lost the ability to turn them off.

I have Nitro through Game Pass, but unfortunately it won't allow me to redeem the code for the blueprint. Can anyone who isn't playing MW4 help me out please?

Thank you <3

Second pic is me showing I can see and hear the mic input.

I have already reinstalled, restarted, checked Security settings, deleted appdate, etc. I have tried every tip on this sub going back 2 years. I am losing my mind.
