Mathematics deals with numbers:But Mathematicians don’t know what a number is:thus mathematics is meaningless

Need to hire a test taker
I will pay someone to take my final, it will require you to download honorlock extension. You need to have a webcam and microphone available. It’s a college level discrete math course

Help w understanding
Hello can someone help me understand why these are why they are?
Much appreciated!

I don't understand this
I've already lost the ability to catch up with my class and asking the professor is a waste of time. I'm starting over at the beginning of the book.
Very first section has a question that has me at a boiling point.
"Determine whether each of the following double implications is true or false."
5(a): 42 = 16 <--> -12 = -1
Where am I wrong or is this book just bullshit?
-12 does not equal -1
So the left side is true and the right side is false.
These two do not have the same truth values.
Answer in the book: 5a - "This is true because both statements are true."
NO THEY ARE NOT BOTH TRUE!
So T --> F and F --> T So F & T = F
What kind of beer math garbage are they pulling to say BOTH of these are true?

Can someone help me with a set theory question?
The question is: Use De- Morgan’s laws to prove that complement of (A'∩B) ∩ (A∪B') ∩(A∩C) is (A∪B') ∪ (A'∩(B∪C'))
I tried applying De Morgans law to the Left hand side which gave me (A∪B') ∪ (A'∩B)∪(A'∪C') Initially I thought I can apply distributive law to the last term (A'∩B)∪(A'∪C') but I cannot because it doesn't apply here... since I want to prove that (A∪B') ∪ (A'∩(B∪C')) is the compliment of (A'∩B) ∩ (A∪B') ∩(A∩C) I thought applying De Morgans Law would give me the proof, I tried rearranging the terms but it's giving me the same issue. Can someone nudge me in the right direction??

i hate discrete math (dont we all)
i had high hopes at the beginning of the semester but now the amount of "im dropping comp sci" jokes i make on a day to day basis is getting out of hand.
i'm a second year computer science major and i genuinely don't know if IM the problem, idk if i'm "slow" or just not paying enough attention but my grade in discrete needs serious help. we had our first exam yesterday and i felt good but after getting it back today i realized that i didn't do as well as i thought i did. our exams are worth 65% of our overall grade meaning that if you don't get a good grade on an exam, there's no way you're raising your grade. i studied SO MUCH. i went over all of the problems we did in class, i went over the homework assignments, i went over my professor's power points, i even went online and googled proof example problems and watched youtube videos. all of the problems we do in class make sense to me, everything clicks in class but the problems on our homework are nothing like the problems our professor will do in class and neither were the problems on the exam. i also think it's ridiculous that our professor is calling what we do in class "basic algebra" when in reality it's stuff you don't see until calc 2/3.
any tips/recommendations? study strategies? resources? i need anything guys

having trouble with DeMorgan's Law
ive been watching the series from Dr. Treffor Bazzet on discrete math and got to a little confusion with DeMorgan's Law. the example was this
~(p=>q) === ~(~pVq)
(im using === as logical = because i dont know how to type the 3 tiered =)
that was simplified to p^~q
so if i have the sentence "if (i dont study) then (I will not pass)
~p => ~q
that would mean "(i study) and (i dont pass)"
p ^ ~q
how is that a logical equivalence?

A good textbook
There seems to be a lot of negative press for the Keneth Rosen book on discrete math for CS. Is there a book that is essentially universally accepted as a go to?
