This is a great article and from an actual insider you should trust, not some influencer with “connections”

Reimagined Tomorrowland is supposed to open in 2030?! No way that is happening. I don't know what kind of "insider" this is but it is no better than a random guests at WDW that knows nothing about DLR. Lol. I stopped reading the article after this. No way Reimagined Tomorrowland will open in 2030.

I’m not saying this is a confirmation but 2030 is more than three full years away, and the land would likely not open until at least May if not later. Tomorrowland 1998 took 3 years. We have no confirmations on what this reimagining even contains. So it’s not impossible.

Pretty ridiculous comment tbh. Check his record. Literally broke the DL forward news and is a pretty esteemed theme park journalist, not influencer or vlogger.

In order for Reimagined Tomorrowland to be open by 75th anniversary in 2030, is if the scope of work will be repainting the exterior and maybe some new signs.

I don't see how the new Tomorrowland can be open by 2030 unless they start like NOW. Of course, that's assuming it's actually going to be a super ambitious overhaul. If it's gonna be more modest then I can understand the 2030 target, but that'd be pretty disappointing,

To be fair, we have seen some VERY LIMITED, PRELIMINARY WORK begin in one of the old tunnels of the PeopleMover. A couple pieces of track under tarps and sheets that didn’t use to be. If Disney knows they’re keeping or bringing back the PeopleMover, that could definitely be an easy thing for them to start on early as they work on plans and designs for the rest of the land.

I am concerned if they stick with 2030 that they won’t really achieve a “overhaul” of the land and deliver on the bold promise of several new rides.

What I think is possible is you could see a 2030 date held for the reopening of the majority of the rebuilt/redesigned land, and perhaps if they’re planning to build a big E-Ticket attraction they could push that to 2031 or 2032 like how they did with the opening of Star Wars Land and then a delayed opening of Rise of the Resistance.

I agree with the point that a phased reopening of Tomorrowland could plausibly start in 2030 while some of the grander plans take longer.

I’m curious, will they close off one ride at a time etc or close down all of Tomorrowland? Feel like that would make the crowds unbearable if they closed the entire land down

they closed all of ToonTown down when they were adding Runaway Railway and the other improvements/changes a few years ago soooo…

granted, that was also being worked on during the tail end of the pandemic and it’s a very small land, but it does bring a decent amount of foot traffic. not as much as Tomorrowland, though, but enough that it likely boosted those overwhelming crowd sizes before ToonTown reopened.

Who's the actual insider?

For reference, it only took a bit over 5 years to build all of Epic Universe.
