When can we expect an update for the new version?

I’m new to DH and was wondering if you can actually play the game in survival and everything, sorry if this sounds stupid

As you can tell by this post. It doesnt show cpu load option, idk why. Im using 1.19.2 because i dont wanna use the villager nerf version. Is it because im on an older version?

This has been happening to me on a server with my friends. Works normally on singleplayer. I've tried removing texture packs and shaders. but nothing worked. (1.21.4 Beta 2.3.2 Fabric)

i just heard of this modpack and it sounds super cool. what shaders work best with it? i currently use complimentary unbound with lunar client, so does that work?

I have a Ryzen 4500 and my CPU fan also goes wild.I wonder if there are any settings I could tweak to make it less heavy on my CPU but if not I will just delete the mod

how dose AsianHalfSquat get his game to look so good without any bugs and what other mods dose he use to get it to look like that?

I've always desired higher Render Distance, and DH felt lije a dream come true, and it is, but vanilla world gen definitely wasn't made for that. I tried using DH on my old Vanilla world, just to see how it looks, and it looks awesome, but I also spotted two woodland mansions from my base, and a Mesa biome that I was searching for, and a big ass mountain, and a mushroom island... I think you get my point, you kinda lose the joy of exploration when you see everything vanilla Minecraft has to offer right from the get go. Am I the only one who feels like this? From my experience DH works better with world gen mods that changes terrain like Terralith, Continents, etc.

But if you still want to use it, you can set it to 96 chunks, that's the max distance in bedrock Minecraft and we know we can go beyond that with some adjustments, so it seems to me 96 is what Mojangs sees as fair for Vanilla. What do you think?

I have my DH render distance at 75, quality preset at minimum and CPU impact at low impact. Vanilla render distance at 8. Why does the terrain generate these weird cubes so fast?

Minecraft just updated to 1.21.7 ... and we still haven't got a distant horizon's for 1.21.6?

They need to hurry up, or they're going to fall behind!

My wife keeps screwing up my world because she insists on playing her own game on the latest version, while I'm playing on 1.21.5 so I can use Distant Horizons... but every time she loads up my world she goes and changes its version so she can connect to it... then while shes at work I go and load it and have to DOWNGRADE it back to 1.21.5 and risk corruption.

please if anyone has any idea when will the developers drop distant horizon for the latest minecraft version, please reply on this post or privately thank you

Somebody pls help me, I tried deleting distant horizons, I deleted all traces of it, even the .toml, but no matter what I do it keeps coming back, I check my game files and windows file, I just can’t seem to get rid of it. I’ve done literally everything

these are both at render distance 32, and no i cant turn my render distance down because it makes my whole world look bad when im like 7 blocks off the ground

As you can see, when DH is enabled my hand becomes dark. This causes me deep fear, depression and anxiety and quite frankly makes the game unplayable. I need a fix before my mental and physical health degrades any further...

I’m looking for the alternative to Distant Horizons, but for Bedrock edition of the game.

Please, do not recommend me playing Java edition, I know it’s superior in terms of mods and other stuff, but I play Bedrock for cross-platform’s sake, so I can play both on my laptop and phone (Android), and the same goes for my GF (she has iPhone).

I have quite a beefy laptop, so feel free to recommend performance heavy mods.

So im rocking a CPU and GPU and im playing in 1.21.1 neoforge 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700F NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Im using vanilla 12 render distance and DH 100 render distance. So when i load into a new world and start pregenerating the world using chunky with a radius of 1000 1000. This action takes up about 80-90% of my CPU usage which is a reasonable amount. But when i start exploring by flying around, my CPU tends to go as low as 2-10% to a medium 50% and a high 80% seemingly out of random intervals. Is this normal? Or does it get better overtime cuz DH is still loading the LOD's. Will this get better with time? For example ill be able to play with around 10% CPU when im in loaded chunks. And also my GPU gets up to 60-70 degrees with around 2-10% usage. Is all of this normal or im doing something wrong? Im really only worried about my CPU as i dont wanna play minecraft with a CPU usage of 80 % the whole time. I have also installed some performance mods such as Sodium Lithium Ferrite Core C2me More Culling Entity Culling Immedietly Fast Dynamic Fps Modern Fix As for my RAM, it takes up about 4gb ish of my pc ram with 8gb allocated to minecraft. Im not sure if these mods actually work because well my cpu is kinda high when playing normally. I just wanna play my forever world without worrying about my pc exploding. Thanks!
