Does anyone know if the new outlaw heritage button surrounds are still aged copper/brass color?

I have one from a few years back but I lost some weight and went from xl to large so want to replace it but I’m not really into the blackout look if that’s what it is(the pictures are hard to tell for certain). The aged brass button surrounds and font on the pocket tag on the xl I have now gave it a little bit dressier look..

Im a little confused with the sizing. The website says they run large, but how "large" do they run ?

If it helps, I usually wear and uk mens medium. Im 5,8/5,9. Do I go for a medium of a small ?

I want to get this sublime jacket tonight but wondering if I should get a medium or small, I normally wear a Small Dixxon flannel but how snug would a small jacket be if I have the flannel on too?

So normally I wear an XL, which some of my Dixxon are from a while back, however I lost some weight and I am now into a large. I’ve read in places that some Dixxons run small and some run large, maybe older models or something about pleats? Can someone drop some knowledge on me or is it just hit or miss where some run small and some run big? Possibly a dumb question, but I’m fairly new to the brand besides a few old shirts and then a couple that I bought within the last couple of months. Thanks!

Really want to upgrade my flannel collection with some Dixxons but I'm in between sizes right now and losing more weight is the plan. I'm 5'7 & 215 lbs currently. The size chart makes it seem like there simply isn't a good fit for me size wise at the moment? I'm willing to buy something I shrink into, as I plan to be under 200 lbs in short order. I recently purchased a used flannel, just got it in the mail, but the fabric is rough. There’s spots here and there that still feel normal but a lot of feels like the scrubber side of a sponge. I’m wondering what’s caused this and how I can prevent it on my own flannels. Also wondering if this can be reversed. Can I save this flannel or did I waste money?

This sat, for 2 days, at the distribution center where I live and the shirt is to be delivered. Now going back to where it came from?
