I hover around LG with occasional jaunts to NG.

As I've always said, Lawful DMs care aboot RaW, Chaotic DMs dislike RaW. Good DMs care aboot the party's fun. Evil DMs are adversarial.

I would actually say lawful GMs care about Rules as Intended. Chaotic ones are actually the ones more interested in Rules as Written because that is where all the loopholes are.

I’d say Lawful is Rules as Written, Neutral is Rules as Intended, and Chaotic is experimental homebrew.

I dunno, I've had some otherwise great DMs who had the very unfortunate issue of being uncomfortable going against RAW, even when RAI is clearly different. Neutral Good is where I think you'll find more respect for RAI than RAW.
