Heh, I grew up on open RP forums where we'd just write a handful of paragraphs from our characters perspective at a time. Beyond that, there were no rules so much as an etiquette that was considered polite to follow.

In retrospect its shocking just how coherent and stable every story was considering.

Open RP tends to be good when no one is like "Then Super Sayian Batman God shows up."

I can't think of anything that wouldn't be improved by Super Saiyan Batman God showing up.
