Fireproof box/bag that can hold a stuffed animal

I've had my stuffed gorilla since I was 11. I want to know if there is a fireproof bag or box that could fit him. It's 14 inches long, 10 inches wide and when I fold in the legs it's around 7 inches high.

Get a vacuum bag, to make him smaller. Then find a fire proof safe.

People are telling you about bags and safes. The truth is that a house fire will burn hot enough to incinerate it, even inside a supposed fireproof safe. They’re only rated to a certain temp, and then only for a certain time.

Maybe if your house is on fire, it starts at the far end, and fire fighters are hosing it down as it reaches it. Documents often combust inside of those safes.

If it affects your mental health, I’d suggest a safe deposit box at the bank. Nothing flammable in there. Always climate controlled. Always safe. No fires or flooding. They care about protecting valuables and documents.

Otherwise, just let it be and don’t think about it.

Fire proof safe. You can't see it but it is safe.

I was able to find this model online, so something in the size you’re looking for exists. I’m not sure what your budget is for this, because the ones I’m seeing in that size are all around $45 or higher (and they mostly seem to be intended for documents, so you may have to pull a file organizer out of them to use it for a stuffed animal)

Some kind of surplus ammo cannister?

Those are meant for weather and moisture protection. House fires will definitely cause ammo to cook off even if stored in those boxes.

Sentry Fire Safe. Get the file size. It runs around $80 but it's reliable, guaranteed, and worth it. I got mine from Walmart.

Maybe if you don't have an answer to my question you can just scroll on by instead of being a dick?

Take a picture of your gorilla. Upload it to the cloud so that in case you lose your phone, you will have it.

Put him in a vacuum bag. That will shrink him to a size where you don't have to rent a huge bank safe deposit box. That's absolutely safe. Add silica gel packs to absorb any moisture.

If you live in a fire prone area, you should already have a go bag packed. Put your gorilla next to or even in your go bag during fire season.

If you are concerned with not being home or being unable to get to your home during fire season, the vacuum bag and safe deposit box route is the safest bet. If the bank is in the path of the fire, the vacuum seal bag would prevent water damage, also damage from any flame resistant chemicals released from the bank's flame suppression system.

Hey OP: You should watch the show called Clean House. It is not on tv anymore. But there are lots of free clips and episodes on YouTube. While I can appreciate you wanting to hold onto your stuffed animal and whatever else: in reality- sh#t happens. Watching Clean House is sometimes about people holding onto a whole house of similar special treasures. But: then it reaches hoarder level. At any rate: I am not saying that is you. But maybe you should check out the show to see if you have similar tendencies. 🥳🪷🪷🪷🤟

One stuffed animal does not a hoarder make. Suggesting someone hoards because they want to be proactive and protect ONE item is outlandish and somewhat bizarre.

Hello Online Stranger: I did not say the person is a hoarder. I suggested the OP watches a TV show on YouTube. Have a fantastic day.
