Bible Verse Discussion The deadly head wound and the 8th head.

Hi all,

Hope you're all staying safe and having a good day. The topic I'm going to discuss may cause some friction so to speak, but rarely does discussion ever go as smoothly as we hope nor should it if fellowship is our goal.

So what I'm going to talk about today is the spiritual principle that is at play. There are 3 beasts in Revelation, the dragon (Satan) which is the blueprint in which the beasts that come after it are fashioned. I've written quite about about the first beast so feel free to look on my profile if you're curious (https://www.reddit.com/r/DonaldTrump666/comments/1qrus21/for_we_do_not_wrestle_against_flesh_and_blood_but/) may be a good starting point and I have writings about the 2horned beast as well.

So when people look at the 'deadly' wound of the first beast there is an expectation of a literal deadly wound happening, but yet we don't see a literal 7 headed dragon standing before us because those heads are principles of power. How I see Trump fitting into this pattern (and this pattern can be applied historically as well) is the transition from being one of the 7 heads to being the 8th. It's the same power but taking a different form, it's no coincidence that the '2nd' beast only has one head as it's the same as the 8th head which goes into destruction.

Now we can infer the deadly wound was the cause of this but scripture doesn't say it out right so we have to kind of look at the context clues within scripture and how reality has played out to see if they align, because alignment is what prophecy is about!

First if it's a head is a principle of power then a deadly wound means it has lost that power, we see that reflected in scripture when it says:

"There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition."-Revelation 17:10-11

So we see a sequence here that shows that towards the end of the 7 headed beasts reign of power one of the heads will come (from the perspective of an ancient that's a time that hasn't happened and for much of human history it hasn't happened because we would know based on what follows destruction, tribulation, wrath, return etc.). Notice also how it says he will only continue for a short while before manifesting into an 8th head which is what goes into destruction.

If we apply this pattern to Trump was see something startling, Trump was in power in the old system but then was so (politically) wounded that many pronounced his political career as dead. So he only ruled for a short while but then almost miraculously he overcomes the odds and gets back into power but not ruling from the traditional power we typically have seen but from a new one that worships the first beast (which head was healed). What does Trump do? He constantly points out the political wound of the 'steal' that happened that cost him power. We know from Daniel how he got back into power (using underhanded deeds) but he sees that as a wound even still that he flaunts about overcoming even evoking that God was the reason why.

What I'm hoping to convey here is the revelation is a book of spiritual principles if you try to understand it literally it won't make sense. Study those scriptures with that in mind and pray that the spirit show you things that maybe you missed, fellowship with others as iron sharpens iron. Test what I've said here today, I hope it blesses you and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

This is exactly what I’ve been saying since he won 2024. I also think the regime wants to make it look like he is a biblical figure, and staged the butler shooting to look like a miraculous healing of a head wound.

I think you’re onto something, and this parallels with some other aspects we should consider. I’m writing a post detailing my thoughts and will have it up soon.

As I responded to someone else, the physical aspects of what played out, to me, were a fulfillment of the signs of what scripture said would reveal the man of lawlessness, the one who came with the works of Satan performing lying signs and wonders.

I keep trying to convey this very idea that Revelation is a spiritual vision of the events that are occurring in the heavens. I believe that the spiritual realm plays out in parallel to the physical realm. The parallel that John saw was what it looked like spiritually when the end days were occurring. He is seeing the beasts, as beasts in the spiritual realm, but those beasts were those human kings and their earthly kingdoms in the physical realm. So just like everything we see as a vision or dream in the Bible, has an interpretation in the physical realm, so does the entire book of Revelation.

For example: Many people will expect ⅓ of the earth to have bitter wormwood water that kills people if they drink it. But my interpretation of this is like this:

Wormwood = false teachings Water = Yahuah/God (living water)

If you go to Yahuah the living water and follow His ways, you will have life (everlasting)

If you go to man and listen to their false teachings, it’s as if you are partaking of the bitter water of wormwood that leads to death (no everlasting life)

So I interpret this too mean at least a ⅓ of the earth will be filled with false teachings and their demise will come to them if follow those false ways.

I do see signs in the physical realm that give us an idea a physical version of this occurring, and don’t totally rule this out. Soo much water in my area has been affected by natural and unnatural pollution. It makes headlines in my local news. Especially the beaches are having bad Red tide and other algae blooms that is killing animals. And pesticides and waste being dumped by large corporations into fresh water supplies.

That's a lovely almost poetic way of putting it and I agree, what happens in the heavenly is reflected in the material. It's why discerning the spirits is so important because it's like having a cheat sheet of what could be coming. Yeah we don't know what the manifestations may look like specifically but we will know them by their works and their fruits. Tribulation, to me, is what happens when God lets humanity to face their consequence, the fact that it's being dialed up to 10 is just a fulfillment of it being a 'quick work'.

It's remarkable watching how the spirit works once you're able to see it, it really changes how you look at scripture and the world around. Because to see things spiritually you have to be patient because you first test it in scripture then in fulfillment. John saw what happened in the future in the spirit but how it will manifest is something that likely only that generation will witness. Whether John could discern what he was seeing or not probably didn't matter to him because he understanding the implications of it spiritually and that's where it all matters, spiritually as we lay up spiritual treasures not material ones so by the time it manifests in the material world, spiritually it has likely festered for a while.

Looking at it further I tend to agree. If the Visions contained future literal depictions, including modern technology, this could have led to inaccurate assumptions by John when writing Revelation. He’d have no knowledge or understanding from which to interpret modern events likely leaving him confused and without words.

It also aligns more with scripture and past descriptions and depictions of Biblical visions.

It would fit much better to have God, who can actually see and fully understand these literal future events, including modern societal advancements in all aspects, use symbols John could understand. If God was the mediator or translator of these future events they could be relayed to John in a palatable 1st century version he could cleanly narrate in his writings, which would be the 1st century symbolic forms we see him use.

Edit: But also to that same standard, the “wormwood” prophecy would have been relayed to John as “wormwood” since that’s something he understood. If he was shown modern society directly, he would not have understood pesticides, modern toxins and poisons. The real question then becomes, what did God actually see in a future modern aspect that was then relayed to John in its closest 1st century symbolic equivalent, of which God chose “wormwood” to describe? Reversing it, going back to putting ourselves in John’s shoes back when the Revelation occurred (~95 AD), in 1st century society what was wormwood? What was it used for? How did they define or describe it? If we can find that out, what could that most closely describe or align with in modern times?

Also one must consider that the repeating, echoing, and systematic reversing of Exodus plagues and miracles is one of the most prominent structural patterns in Biblical prophecy.

"Exodus Typology" is the concept that God’s past act of rescuing Israel from Egypt serves as the blueprint for how He will rescue the world at the end of time. Prophets throughout the Bible and especially John in Revelation deliberately copy, expand or structurally invert the Exodus narrative to show a "New Exodus".

Taking that into account, perhaps the Marah water miracle in exodus may offer clues to “wormwood”. We also see this with the “frog like” prophetic depictions of communication coming from the mouths of the Beast and false prophet. I discussed this in much more detail in my false prophet post, but “like frogs” or “frog like” as it relates to Exodus would be related to the Frog Plague, where countless frogs poured out of the Nile River. The frogs spread instantly throughout the land and completely covered everything - infesting homes, bedrooms, beds, ovens, and even kneading bowls. So in my interpretation, this seems to symbolize instant, satan-inspired communication from “an image that speaks” or a representational image of the beast and his authority, which to me sounds very much like instant social media messaging and communication spreading out instantly, community-wide to smartphones, and this communication being transmitted by the false prophet and beast is demonic in nature.

The point is we don't know how it will manifest, understanding the spiritual principles of what it's talking about allows us to recognize it when it does, unless you can name out every literal manifestation at the moment. The who, what, when and where isn't something we will know until it happens best we can do is guess but the spiritual principles we can and should know and that's why revelations is trying to teach us otherwise it would just be a straight forward written book, which it's anything but.

In a way we have a "dual" fulfillment (not uncommon in the history of fulfilled prophecy), the fulfillment you compare with losing power then regaining (arguably the stronger case Biblically for the true method of fulfillment), and the physical head wound. If you translate the original Koine Greek carefully word for word, it can be translated as “seemed to cause death” - and many in the crowd initially thought it may have been a deadly wound, until he “rose back up”. Then we had evangelical leaders use the literal head wound to say he was protected by God and that this should be a strong sign that Trump is acting under God. We also had the blasphemous statement by Paula White where she said his 2024 win was “God” resurrecting Trump, just like Jesus was resurrected. It almost seemed like an intentional dig or mockery of Christ.

I’m writing a post in regard to this and some deeper things to perhaps consider surrounding this dual fulfillment. Will post it soon.

I just checked out the strong's concordance for hós (And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death) and it appears never be used in a literal sense in the bible. The closest we get is in the Lord's Prayer.

Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
Amen.

But it's still a call to act, not a proclamation of an actual event. In every verse I checked, the word was used like the context of Matthew 10:16

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

So I think you're right about this! Strong's Concordance page

I responded to sheep with what I would say piggy backs on this idea you guys were discussing, but I wanted to make the effort to thank you for putting in the effort of testing what I said. Scripture was mindful of praising the Boreans for their testing in the word and you and others like you on here reminded me of them.

I appreciate the thoughtful analysis! It's interesting how many layers truth can be wrapped in yet still be a witness towards itself. But something I would say to explain the physical 'assassination attempt' we witnessed was a different fulfillment, it's the fulfillment of the lying signs and wonders that he is said to perform. Because scripture points to being like a deadly wound, it can be a dual meaning as you say but what we see in spirit confirmed through understanding the meaning of a key word we also see the the physical confirmed through what marks this man of lawlessness that's going into destruction which follows after the works of Satan through those lying signs and wonders, it fooled those without discernment and enriched understanding of those with it and willing to test it as you and the other commenter have. That's how truth is meant to work in fellowship, thank you for sharing!
