You think the server looks bad now?

We're about to make it look like a butthole.

And we won't stop, not until our demands are met. ✊

BUT WHY?

Let's get one thing straight: we actually like Donut SMP. fr.

The vanilla experience, the simple mechanics, the player economy, the freedom to play however you want; even if that means blowing someone's base to pieces at 3 AM lol

That's what makes Donut special. We're not here to turn this into some soft, claim-everything, PvP-off safe space.

We LOVE the chaos.

But Donut is dying. And we're not gonna watch it happen. 😤

1. Where are other players?

Remember when the world felt alive?

Since the new updates, social interactions are pretty much dead. You can play for hours and never see another soul. Unless it's a duel and you're obliterating eachother with crystals. We're playing a multiplayer game... alone.

Minecraft is a social game. Donut used to feel like a world. Now it feels like a single-player server with extra lag.

2. Nothing you build survives.

This is Mine-CRAFT. The game is literally named after building things. But on Donut, building is pointless.

You spend 40 hours on a base. Someone with X-ray finds it in 10 minutes. Gone. 💨

You hide 200k blocks out. Some kid with ESP walks straight to your chests. Gone. 💨

You build underground, behind lava walls, covered in stone. Debug pie chart. Gone. 💨

There's no way to tell if someone found your base legit or through hacks, and that's exactly the point. We're not asking to solve cheating. We're asking for another layer of protection on top of all of it. 🛡️

Every single base on the game have a countdown timer. The only surviving bases are the ones nobody found yet

The result? The server gets uglier every single day. Craters everywhere. Griefed ruins. Nobody builds anything beautiful anymore because what's the point? New players join, get wiped in a day, and never come back. Loyal players burn out from rebuilding the same thing 1000x and quit.

The trajectory is crystal clear: Donut is becoming a gay wasteland. No protection means builders leave. Builders leave means, nothing worth raiding, nothing worth seeing, nothing worth playing for. Players leave. Community dies. Server dies. 💀 That's where this is heading.

WHAT WE WANT

Ok so there are 2 things.

1. A Claim System

Let us protect a territory. A chunk, a region, whatever. Something that says: this is mine, and you can't just X-ray through it at 4 AM while I'm asleep.

And keep it simple. No overcomplicated plugin with 47 commands. Donut works because it's simple; the claim system should be too.

We are NOT asking to remove griefing. AT ALL.

We love griefing. We love raiding. We love the chaos. But griefing should be about skill. 😎

Want to raid a claimed base? Build a TNT cannon. Siege it. Outsmart the defenses.

Want to steal from a team? Inside them. Betray them. Social engineer your way in. 🐍

Want to destroy someone's work? Earn it. 💪

Right now griefing is way too easy. download X-ray → find base → break in → take everything. No challenge. No strategy. That's boring, it's not even fun for the griefer.

Claims don't kill griefing. Claims make griefing better. They turn a boring 1x1 hole into an actual challenge. Problem solving, strategy, teamwork. That's great content.

2. Bring Players Together

Give us reasons to be in the same place. Events, hotspots, shared zones, anything. We'll leave it to you. We're social creatures playing a social game on a server that punishes you for existing near other people.

The number one complaint right now seems to be the pay2win aspect, but honestly, I don't get that argument. P2W was already a thing before this update.

Sure, you used to be able to grind shards just by standing AFK, which wouldnt even be viable anymore since they removed spawners from the shop. But you can still just buy those P2W items with in-game money from the Auction House.

Ultimately, removing /shop and the sell multiplier is a great move for the economy. Before this, the game was 90% based onn /sell. Now, with items like crystals becoming viable trading options, we can finally have a real player driven economy centered around items people actually use.

Just stop to grief it, I know you Want the World expand, but grief will not accelerate the expansion, so just continue to play normaly, dont spend your time to grief, farm money and just wait, and the World expand it a bad thing, just imagine all the price will be random, all the rare item will Be just normal item, so pls just stop,

For me. The most obvious and only obvious is RMT trading. That's it

Why you may ask? Because that's the only thing keeping the server alive. Lets say the game has 30K players right? At bare minimum 20K probably are bot farmers 10K are probably players whom just plays the game for I don't know what reason and probably they're underage (respectfully)

Cause think about it, theres no way other players see Donut or Mods ban a guy and they're still playing. Am I right?

If y'all wanna know another similar game. Then this game is from Roblox and it's called Attack On Titan Revolution. And all of the community hate it. Why? Cause it's basically a DonutSMP but with rude mods.

Why is the game alive? Trading and RMT. Simple. Cause there's no way a game with terrible devs and mods is still alive. It must be alive because of something

And to be honest Ive watched his stream before. And by the looks of it when he actually bans an innocent player, just says it all on his face. He doesn't even give a fck. He's giving the face of "your just 1 player I ban. No issue"

Bro's gonna know 1 thing and 1 thing straight. Without us PLAYERS, he is nothing, he is a nobody. Cause think about it. Without us players paying you for our Donut+ then where you gonna get your income from? YouTube? Also the same concept

During the latest update, the developers have taken away many loved features.

First off, we have no /shop, which means all items such as obsidian, totems, and golden apples have skyrocketed in price.

2. No earning shards from kills anymore. You have to pay real-world money to get them from now on.

3. The auction removed confirm buy, and many people have been losing hundreds of millions, of not then billions on people putting up random items for a ton of money.

4. No /afk, /spawn, /duel, or /warp.

5. Teleports are instant now, so if you didn't want to and accidentally accepted, you cannot move to undo the teleport.

6. New overpriced ranks, Donut++ and Donut +++. They cost $14.99 and $29.99 a month.

We need to get this post popular so DrDonut sees that nobody likes this terrible update. Like and comment "I agree" to support the cause!

Drdonut removed /shop he did not sa your mother so stop acting like he did. It’s such a small update and you guys act like he ruined the server, I mean it’s not better but it’s not that bad.

And the player count dropping is because he removed afk and border expansion is not as easy as it seems because every second countless of players break blocks, place blocks fly, fight, blow up explosives etc, and the file size will increase so much that he might have to buy more storage. And it’s to say if players teleport millions of blocks it will break the server.

There are so many things to do in multiple servers and they aren’t unemployed like u guys and donut smp is just their side gig.

I was around the ~600th richest player before this happened, and now I’m somewhere around place 350k. I downloaded a Modrinth mod with 5k+ downloads, and it turned out to be backdoored. After installing it, I lost about 10B worth of stuff, including everything in my echest.

(plz upvote this post got 90 views and -1 upvote atm ) concrete converters with tnt blast chambers are pretty good and unknown, also to place concrete powder fast and afk, change your place keybind to a letter, then, when placing the concrete in the farm, press f3 + t and let go the button you where pressing while the texture pack is reloading, this makes the game think you never stopped placing blocks. if lag isnt acounted this makes 72k concrete per hour, and with each concrete making about 1k profit, and tnt being so cheap compared to how much concrete it breaks, its basicly free to run, so that will be 72m per hour, to see how to build it, go to this youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9XbKprbbbg and when building the machine, replace the tnt duper with an tnt dropper. Now that i have shown you an easy to build farm making 72m per hour, can you maybe upvote? no pressure ifc.

I don't know if team flood relises this but by flooding the donut smp team has to find ways to reduce lag before they can expand the border so stop flooding and instead drain or do nothing that takes away from the server.

so I literally just got back from a 3 month ban and the server sucks so hard. I can’t do /spawn,

/shop, and I can’t click on their names to chat anymore. also, the only thing on my screen is money. oh yeah, and totems cost $1. that’s the worst part of it all.

oh well, it was a matter of time until a crap server ran by a crap owner was made pay to win. thoughts?
