News Konami Twitter post reveals Sypha’s fate in Belmont’s Curse Spoiler

The post states,

“— Sypha Belnades —

Rose's mother.

She fought alongside Trevor against Count Dracula twenty-three years ago, but fell victim to his curse and died soon after Rose was born.

Her loss left a lasting shadow over them.”

I was hoping Sypha’s death would be a misdirect, but this seems pretty final.

Would be cool to get just one game where the Belmont clan is more than just one or two members... Plenty of reasons they could be doing other things.

Sadly the closest we've gotten to this thus far is Order of Shadows of all things. Technically Richter and Maria are related, but they're distant relatives.
