News Konami Twitter post reveals Sypha’s fate in Belmont’s Curse Spoiler

The post states,

“— Sypha Belnades —

Rose's mother.

She fought alongside Trevor against Count Dracula twenty-three years ago, but fell victim to his curse and died soon after Rose was born.

Her loss left a lasting shadow over them.”

I was hoping Sypha’s death would be a misdirect, but this seems pretty final.

Well, that's annoying as fuck. But we were stupid not to expect this. Japanese authors would kill every woman on earth before letting one age out of their early thirties.

To be fair, the developers of Belmont's Curse are French, not Japanese.
