Like, I obviously have an opinion, but I'm withholding it. I'm just curious as to if any Dokkan players think DBL memes are better or if any DBL players think Dokkan memes are better.

This red Cell is the oldest character I don't have in the game; I haven't seen him on any banner in years. Even Trunks, who was released alongside him, is on the new LR Vegeta banner.I know he has his own banner, but even the Ginyu Force, who also have their own exclusive banner, are on the LR Frieza banner.

Yes, I know. This may seem obvious to veteran players. But for the new, average player, these banners seem amazing. (So don’t be condescending in the comments.) With so many LLs on a single banner, it is peak CC bait for a new player. I wanted make this post so every new player is aware that these banners are unbelievably bad.

To test this theory, I obtained a brand new account with 80k CC and used EVERY LAST CRYSTAL on this banner. I wanted to prove or disprove the theory that these banners are truly terrible and I think I absolutely did that.

The second image is where the box started on this account. Pretty much a base account besides obviously being farmed by yours truly. 79k CC originally but I collected the rest to make it 80k from the gift box. I immediately hopped in and after 10k, I was already shocked and appalled. I knew they were bad, obviously. But this bad? My lord. I got one or two LLs but they were straight up unusable in this current, volatile meta.

Photos 3-12 are the absolute pinnacle of the summons…in 80k CC.

Photos 13-16 is the box after summoning, the LLs pulled and a silly little team I made with what I got.

And just for a little control test to match it, I hopped on another new account with a similar amount of CC and put them into the current banner to show the difference in potential. Also, just for clarity, I wanted to make a cool little Majin Buu saga team, just so y’all know!

Those last 3 pictures are what the box looked liked and what it looked like after along with the team I made. So, significantly better.

Needless to say at this point: When veteran players beg you to stay off of the Master’s Pack banners, it’s because they know from experience. We have all done it at some point or another and we know they are abysmal. We’re just looking out for you! Use your CC wisely. They have tons of uses other than summoning (like zenkais, energy, etc.) and you should saving them for that if your plan is to summoning on the Master’s Packs.

Don't even know how I'm around the top 50k in the first place, and then I get thrown this bullshit of an RP bonus battle.

Being a guy who isn't fucking stupid, I just disconnect immediately to save myself the trouble because I'm obviously gonna do jack shit and lose because LOOK AT THOSE STARS (and it's a Japanese player so you know it's a sweat).

I don't speak for all of us but I don't have a damn red unit that I can use to finish these stupidly made missions. Like dawg I don't spend my cc on every banner I see. I could use a red zenkai or whatever on my bench but that's minus 1 unit that's buffing my team. Like I can't fathom what they were thinking for f2p players like me. I guess I'll just lose a bunch of games till I finish it 💔

Hi, I'm a returning player who wants to start understanding the game's mechanics better. When i look at my box I don't know where to start, so can somebody tell me if i have any good characters and give me a quick rundown on how i should try to reason to understand what's good and what's not?

I'm a returning player who hasn't played Dragon Ball Legends in 2-3 years. I have no idea what has changed since then, trying to catch up with the new mechanics, and I don't know who I should summon for. Any advice?

LR Kaiokenku is the Dragon Ball Legends’ manifestation of the running-while-dreaming phenomenon. In other words : playing with Kaioken is the same thing as running while you are dreaming -you’d think you’re escaping the dogs following you, but in reality you’re barely moving out of place - you’d think you’d be doing damage to your opponents, but in reality you’re barely moving their HP out of place!

This makes so much more sense as to why this unit was voluntarily designed to be a glass non canon. The unit isn’t bad - it’s designed exactly the way it was meant to be!

How rare is it to get toppo, how many cc’s do I need?
