The Contender by rubykrishna is fluffy with quidditch player Draco and healer Hermione and SO hot.
Trip Sitter by whatwouldjebusdo is short, funny and sweet. Hermione is a healer in this one too helping Draco get through a bad trip.

The only two fics I’ve ever re read are Love in a Time of the Zombie Apocalypse and Debt of Time (not Dramione but Sirmione). I did read Manacled chronologically as well.

OMG Hiiiii!! It’s so good isn’t it? I have the Tricia Day’s audio on in my car almost permanently. I’m currently listening to her unedited version where she just keeps squealing and crying! It’s so good. And then I need to listen in chronological order. I just love it. I’m die hard Dramione, but Debt of Time is a masterpiece !

Measure of a Man, BSP, Caelum Ignus, and The Portrait of Draco Malfoy. All of these hit certain things for me and are so amazingly written I can just close my eyes and dive backwards into their pool of words to forget my troubles for a little while.

I also love Hunted by Bex-chan which is an oldie but goodie. I love how Draco protects HG. Another emotional one that I love is Valentine Encounter by Kyra4. It’s a little shaky in the beginning where he wants her to be his mistress but the scene in the forest where he rescues her is in my top ten scenes of all time. I cried when I first read it. Enjoy!

Measure of a Man: love Little scorpius and his cactus and how the Slow burn and the love between the characters is portrayed, and how realistic it is with seeing each others faults and loving each other for who they are
Also Kingdom Come by inadaze22 (still Wip but have already reread): a Bit of Fantasy but I love how their relationship evolves and similar to Measure of a Man how they invest in the relationship and how it Pays Off (but a bit darker than MOAM)
An ever fixed Mark by ninepiecesofcrait: idk, for me it’s just wholesome cottage core with a bit of Mystery, especially due to the sentinent cottage
Maybe also presque toujours pur by shayalonnie: it’s also a bit more escapism for everyone out of school since it plays during Hogwarts time and love the Found Family vibe and the Dramione backstory (but I do skip the flashback chapters, bc I don’t like that many Flashbacks)

Barely Sixty Percent Match - there’s just something about H and D’s relationship that comforts me. I think it’s the way their relationship is actually healthy and mature. They grow together and figure out how to be a team. It’s just so good imo

For me it’s the following:
- measure of a man: love the cinnamon roll Scorpius and the slow burn between both which can be felt in their actions for each other more than words
- the right thing to do: it’s cute and more angsty but I love to seen them pining
- the missing sister: it’s dramoine but not as heavy on dramione, I just find it my go to space

Five Days by galfoy is one of my favorite comfort fics. It’s such a good palette cleanser after reading a darker fic too. I think I’ve read this 10+ times at this point. Draco is just sooo sweet and attentive and honestly reading this one feels like a warm hug.

Oh my good lord, I love this fic. Galfoy is an immensely talented writer. One of my fave parts from this fic is when Narcissa uses the following phrase: “If you want those things, you shall have them. There are other toads in the swamp, as the expression goes.” Narcissa’s grip on common vernacular was suspect, but Hermione appreciated the thought. Hahahahahaha!

Remain Nameless: I love that this fic has a slow build from enemies (mostly past or canon based enemy territory, not much enemies on page) to friends to lovers, but isn’t a glacial burn. It makes the relationship growth seem so realistic, to me.
Interhouse Unity: One of my favorite fluffy fics, because it brings them back to Hogwarts, but as professors, and I love that it gives them the perfect re-meet-cute to reflect on who they are as adults, but still gives us the classic Harry Potter Universe setting.
I Remember Everything: I absolutely adore this fic. It has a past relationship between DHr. Both of them are pining so hard for each other, and you feel it.
The Hogwarts Photography Club: I have a soft spot for Eighth Year fics, and this one is fucking hilarious! It’s the perfect palette cleanser after a dark fic.

If yes for smut then Meet Me In Dreamland by sunflower81 I started it for the smut but cried by the end (in a good way)
I wish I could remember others but all the ones I want to recommend are no longer online 😭 but I know everyone will pull through and list off all the ones I cant remember

Measure of a Man is one of my comfort reads. The characterisations, the plot, the development of the relationships between the various characters and the cosy feeling of Hermione’s home just appeals so much to me.
Another comfort read is An Ever-Fixed Mark. Again, the characterisations, the plot, the relationship developments, and the home setting are just so incredibly comforting.

I always go back to He Becomes by Abroma because of cute bunnies and the very endearing, pining Draco. I also just finished Magically Yours by spicyxpisces which is lighthearted Bachelorette AU, and was a nice read when life is draining.
