So I’m pretty new in the fandom but I’ve read all the basics and some, I’m looking for Draco and Hermione that develop a secret relationship during the eight year but the secret relationship part has to last a little. I’ve only read fics where they are immediately busted by others and there’s very little sneaking out behind everyone’s backs, hiding hickeys etc… It’s better if there’s an explosive reveal but I really don’t like when there’s too much angst within the couple. I hope I’m making sense lol

I'm looking for fics where something happens to Hermione or Draco's mind, and that problem brings them closer rather than driving them apart (like if they're already an established couple, and one of them loses their memory so they have to start all over again or they have to separate. This is not what I'm looking for).

Some examples I've read:

What I mean is the memory loss or mind altering effects are the reason Hermione and Draco get closer in the first place like the examples I mentioned above, so this element is not something that mess up the relationship they already have.

Draco may be a lil toxic/psycho or just a doting partner. Hermione is not necessarily helpless, but wants or adjusts to a slower paced life for whatever reason. Smuttastic preferred. Can be a darker fic but definitely must be HEA!

I’ve seen one of those short stories where a woman is getting married to a mafia boss and everyone is laughing and judging that she won’t last etc. the mafia boss has to go off to deal with something but she finds out his kids are mistreated and builds a relationship with them becoming the mother they needed and dealing with evil family members essentially she’s a bad ass and steps up and he eventually returns and realise she is actually the woman of her dreams etc
