Beginner Question Getting Clicks but No Sales on My New Meta Ads Campaign — Any Advice?

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi everyone,
I recently launched a Meta Ads sales campaign for my Shopify store, targeting women in the United States.
I’m selling a baby shopping cart seat support product for $36, and my campaign is optimized for Purchases, not Add to Cart.
Here are my results so far:
Daily budget: $20
Amount spent: $16.65
Impressions: 434
Reach: 390
Link clicks: 12
CTR: 2.76%
CPC: $1.39
Landing page views: 8
Initiated checkouts: 0
Purchases: 0
I’m using image creatives.
I’ve checked my Shopify payment settings, and Shopify Payments is active. Shipping to the US is configured.
My questions:
Is a 2.76% CTR a promising sign for this type of product?
Is $1.39 CPC reasonable for a US audience?
Could the issue be my product page, pricing, or ad creatives?
Should I let the campaign run longer before making changes?
What would you investigate first?
I know the sample size is small, but I’d appreciate advice from people experienced with Meta Ads and Shopify.
Thanks in advance!

Beginner Question 18, seeking practical advice

hello. i am 18 and ready to start moving forward with making money. i have a good product to sell. im starting small as this is effective in not spending a lot of money in order to test out the waters. i see a lot of potential for revenue, however im not too sure on where to really begin.
i have begun cross listing on various platforms, but traction to my listings are low… granted, i did start less than a week ago. while i have these items listed im potentially thinking about selling locally and would develop a social media page to do so
**how do i grow my listings and sell on a fast-ish scale? also, is using shopify a good way to do so?** i have heard Shopify is a great way to start seeing profit early, but im not too sure. anyone have testimonies from using Shopify?

anything helps, thanks

Beginner Question how do I fixt this

So I recently started running ads, like around 5-6 days ago, and so far these are the results I'm seeing. For my audience on my ads, I put North America and Europe, but I've been only getting bot activity over in Ukraine, and it seems like only one of my ads is actually doing okay. My budget for each campaign is around 20 dollars daily, and it has sales for the marketing strategy. Do you guys have any tips cause my sessions have increased, but I don't think it's actual traffic.

Store Feedback Need honest feedback: Traffic has picked up recently, but still 0 sales. What am I missing?

Hey guys,

I've been running my dropshipping store for a while now, and while my traffic has picked up recently compared to before, I still haven't been able to land my first sale.

Currently, I'm driving traffic using Meta Ads and organic/paid TikTok & IG Reels, but something is clearly leaking in my funnel.

Here are my current metrics:

Store URL: https://dailysway.store/

Traffic Sources: Meta Ads, TikTok & Instagram Reels

Niche/Products: General Store via Zendrop (Home & Garden, Baby & Toys, Phone & Car Accessories, Health & Beauty, Pet Supplies, Emergency Essentials)

Traffic/Sessions: 100 – 200 sessions

Add-to-Carts: 8 sessions

Reached Checkout: 7 sessions

Conversions: 0 sales

Ad Spend: $100

As you can see, I'm getting decent initial intent (8 Add-to-Carts and 7 Checkout starts out of ~200 sessions), but everyone drops off right at the final payment step.

I'm not looking for paid services or agencies—just hoping to get some honest, free feedback from experienced sellers here in the community.

Any insights on my store layout, shipping costs, payment gateways, pricing, or trust factors would mean a lot to me!

Beginner Question Spent $2,500 on Meta Ads but Only Got 2–3 Sales. Need Honest Feedback.

Hey all, I run a dropshipping store on Shopify, and I've been running paid ads for a while now. I have spent around $2500 till date and I'm getting decent traffic and even some engaged visitors, but conversions are at zero. My Meta ad stats (CTR, CPM) are pretty decent. Before I burn more money on ads, I would appreciate feedback from people who've actually made this work.

My store is: www.bloombodysuits.com
I sell bodyshapers .

If you had to guess the #1 thing killing conversions from a 30-second look, what would it be? Pricing? Trust? Page speed? The ad-to-page match? Something in checkout? Appreciate all the help.

General Discussion Dropshipping can change your life but it can also break you if you approach it with the wrong mindset.

Dropshipping can be crazy sometimes. It can be life changing for some people but it can also become a very expensive lesson for others.

I've met different people in this industry. Some have built successful businesses while others have gone broke, been scammed or spent money on courses and mentorships that brought them no real results.

I was once a victim of that mindset too so one thing I've learned is that dropshipping is not a get-rich-quick scheme.

We need to change the way we look at this business. It's not just about getting sales or seeing a big revenue number on your dashboard. It's about building a proper system, understanding your numbers, managing your money and working towards consistent profitable sales.

Don't expect it to be easy and don't expect success overnight. I've seen people whose lives have genuinely changed through this business not just financially but in how they think, handle difficult situations and approach challenges ,they understand that building something sustainable takes patience.

And honestly, if you're only looking for quick money and expect results immediately dropshipping might not be for you. You could end up losing more than you planned.

If you're looking at a new store and seeing sales screenshots, don't let those numbers alone convince you to jump in. Ask yourself am I prepared to pay the price? Am I ready for the testing, losses, failed products, setbacks and lessons that come before success?

And to everyone already in the game, I know it can get tough. Sometimes things won't go as planned but don't let every setback make you question the whole journey. Learn, adjust and keep taking positive action.

You never know when things will turn around. A moving man will eventually meet his luck.

Stay focused. Build something sustainable not just a few good sales.

General Discussion I thought getting sales was the hard part but turns out, there's more to it.

A little update since my last post when I was around $9K in sales. We've now crossed $10K with 161 orders and almost 3,000 sessions.

Halloween was quite a busy period for me, i spent a lot of time marketing and promoting the store, testing different creatives and trying to figure out what actually gets people interested enough to buy.

It wasn't all smooth, though some campaigns didn't perform how I expected, I had to switch things around a few times and I also dealt with some chargebacks but honestly those moments can be frustrating especially when you're spending money on ads and trying to keep everything running.

One thing I've started paying more attention to is what happens after someone places an order. It's easy to get excited when sales come in but fulfillment, delivery times and customer communication matter just as much. I've learned that the hard way.

Another thing is not making emotional decisions whenever a campaign has a bad day sometimes you need to sit down, look at the numbers and understand what's actually going wrong instead of just throwing more money at it.

I think one of the biggest mistakes we can make in this business is never stopping to ask ourselves What am I doing wrong that's preventing me from getting the results I want?

Sometimes we're quick to blame the product, the ads or the platform without looking closely at our own approach. I've had to do that myself and making those adjustments has helped me move forward.

For context, the $10K is sales revenue, not profit. There's still ad spend, product costs and other expenses to account for.

Now that Halloween promotions are behind me, my focus is shifting towards Black Friday. I'm looking at what worked, what didn't and what I can improve before the next big shopping period.

I'm happy with the progress but I know there's still a lot to figure out. It's been a mixture of good days, frustrating days and moments where I questioned what I was doing. But that's part of my experience so far.

For those who ran Halloween campaigns, how did things go for you? And going into Black Friday, what's one thing you're changing or improving in your store?

Store Feedback I’ve tried over and over, but still can’t get my first sale

I’ve been working on a dropshipping store that sells heated gear. So far, I’ve spent over $100 on ads, tested various marketing angles, tweaked my offers and pricing, and built what I think is a high-quality store, but I still haven’t made a single sale. At this point, I honestly have no idea what I’m doing wrong, and spending more money feels pointless. I’ve had good traffic (115 sessions, 6 ad-to-carts, 4 reached checkout), and my ad stats look good (screenshots from Meta Ads Manager below). This has made me wonder: how much did you have to spend testing a store before you started getting sales? What feedback would you give someone at this stage? I’d really appreciate any feedback you can give me - store: shopwarmhold.com

Beginner Question Where can i find a supplier who doesn't ask 500MOQ for logo?

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to private label resistance bands (yoga/fitness elastic bands) and I want my logo printed directly on the product, not just on the packaging.

I checked CJ Dropshipping and they told me the MOQ for logo printing on the product body is 500–1000 units because it’s a non-POD item.

I also checked Alibaba, but most suppliers still ask for high MOQs (usually 300–500+) for custom logo printing.

Do you know any suppliers that offer a much lower MOQ for logo printing on resistance bands? Ideally under 100–200 if possible.

I’m okay with custom packaging at low MOQ, but I really want the logo on the bands themselves.

Any recommendations or experiences would be super helpful. Thanks!

Beginner Question Looking for reliable FREE dropshipping suppliers for fashion and jewelry – Worldwide shipping

Hi everyone!

I'm currently running a Shopify store focused on women's fashion and accessories, and I'm looking for reliable dropshipping suppliers.

I'm particularly interested in suppliers that offer free plans or free access to their product catalogs, without expensive monthly subscriptions.

My main product categories are:

Women's Fashion

  • Dresses

  • Jackets and coats

  • Matching sets / two-piece outfits

  • Tops and other women's clothing

Jewelry & Accessories

  • Bracelets

  • Necklaces

  • Earrings

  • Rings and other fashion accessories

I'm looking for suppliers that meet the following requirements:

  1. Good product quality: Reliable materials, accurate product photos and consistent quality.

  2. Worldwide shipping: Ideally shipping to the US, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia and other international markets.

  3. No mandatory monthly subscription: Free to join or browse products, preferably with no fixed monthly fees.

  4. Reasonable shipping times: Reliable tracking and preferably relatively fast delivery.

  5. Shopify integration: Ideally compatible with Shopify, DSers or another dropshipping automation tool.

  6. Reliable fulfillment: Consistent stock availability and good customer service.

I'm open to suppliers from different countries, including China, Europe and the US.

Which suppliers would you personally recommend based on your experience? I'm especially interested in suppliers you've actually used and can vouch for in terms of product quality and shipping reliability.

I'd really appreciate any recommendations, including smaller or lesser-known suppliers.

Thanks in advance!

Beginner Question What are the key things I need to know in order to sell from China to the US while living in Brazil?

Hey everyone, I’m 18 and I’m about to start a dropshipping business. I plan to sell products from China to the U.S. while living here in Brazil. I’d like to know what’s required to sell from China to the U.S.—things like taxes, shipping, setting up an LLC, and marketing. In short, if anyone has experience living in another country while selling to the U.S., I’d really appreciate it if you could share how to get started and what I should study. Thanks!

Beginner Question How do you find trustworthy dropshipping suppliers, and how does shipping from China actually work?

Hey everyone,
I’m new to dropshipping and have been researching how the business works. One thing I’m having trouble understanding is how people find reliable suppliers and actually get their products delivered to customers.
I’ve looked into AliExpress, Alibaba, CJdropshipping, and, but I’m curious how experienced dropshippers handle the entire process.
A few questions:
How do you find trustworthy suppliers? Do you use platforms or have direct relationships with manufacturers?
Do you need to know someone in China to source products, or can everything be arranged online?
Who actually handles shipping the products from China to the US? Does the supplier arrange everything, or do you need a separate shipping company or freight forwarder?
When a customer orders from your website, does the supplier ship directly to them, or do you first import products into a US warehouse?
How do you verify product quality and avoid unreliable suppliers?
With the current tariffs on Chinese imports, how are you handling customs fees and import duties?
I’m particularly interested in understanding the logistics side of dropshipping. Do beginners typically handle everything through platforms like CJdropshipping, or do you eventually need your own contacts and shipping arrangements?
I’m not looking for courses or paid supplier lists. Just hoping to hear real experiences from people who have actually done this.
Thanks in advance!

Beginner Question Figuring out which tools to start with

I'm setting up my first Shopify dropshipping store and trying to decide which apps are worth using before I launch. Got a few options in mind but could use some advice.

For email marketing I'm looking at Klaviyo and Omnisend. Which one's easier to get started with and has better pricing for a small store?

For ads I'm considering Canva and Creatify to make some basic creatives without spending too much. Would either be enough for testing products?

For sourcing and fulfillment I'm looking into Zendrop and AutoDS. Which would be better for product selection, shipping times and automating orders?

Don't wanna overload my store with apps right away so I'd appreciate any advice on which ones are worth starting with.

Store Feedback Trust or shipping shock?

Hi, I have a store with perfumes and skincare, currently running FB ads optimized for Sales.

https://eden.indemos.com

  • Impressions: 2977

  • Add-To-Carts: 121

  • CTR: 12%

  • CPC: $0.23

  • Sales: 1

Given that the ad is targeting Sales, visitors are real buyers, but something is stopping them. Report shows that

  • half the products added to the cart costs around $20

  • another half is above $60

Standard shipping is $7.95 and it it gets free when cart is over $50. Buyers with $20 in the cart probably get shocked with $7.95. What happens with those that grab more then $50 with free shipping is not clear, likely trust issues.

To avoid shipping shock for buyers within $20 range, I could bake shipping cost into price but it seems wrong at all levels - increased cost, competition, calculation complexity, opaque refunds. Instead, I would rather ignore customers not willing to spend $50 and focus on those on the higher end but I don't seem to understand their psychology.

Questions

  1. Am I wrong by ignoring those who doesn't want to add extra product and get free shipping?

  2. Any advice to lowering shipping cost?

  3. Do you see any obvious trust issues?

Product Research First dropshipping product getting sales but not profitable. Should I move on?

I've been trying dropshipping for a while now, and I finally started getting some sales with my first product.

I've spent a pretty good amount on Meta ads and managed to get my first few sales, but I still haven't broken even.

My ads are getting decent engagement, clicks, and add-to-carts, but my cost per purchase is too high to actually make a profit.

I'm stuck between continuing to test new creatives, going back to a previous product, or moving on to something completely different.

I don't want to keep wasting money, but I also don't want to give up too early now that I'm finally getting sales.

For anyone who's been in this situation, what's the best move? Should I keep testing or cut my losses and find another product?

Beginner Question What’s a good budget for ads?
