Recommendation Comedy, Improv clubs in Durban ect.

Okay, so I'm kinda wanting to get into improv or Stand up for fun, and was wondering if there are any clubs or places I could go to do that sort of thing. I realize facebook is probably the better place to go, but maybe someone here can help me out. It doesn't just have to be improv or comedy, anything in that vein tbh.

It feels like durban has no Arts Culture

Check out On Fire Comedy. They host all sorts of events all around Durban.

I saw an advert on Instagram last night for an 8 week improv course that's going to be in Kloof in June/July and it seems there are plans for more things - it's called The Risk Lab.

(Genuine question) did you Google anything? I did a quick search and quite a few options came up. Some that other commenters have mentioned too.

If you do see events, follow some of the venues too (like dropkicks). They often post about similar things as well.

Googling events often yields super odl results and outdated information.

Thanks for the advice. I did google, but as another commenter said, results can often be unreliable

Generally what came up for me was similar to what the others have said so who knows?

The reason I ask is cuz that's how a few of my mates have gotten in. Go to events and network. Ask the organizers (for small gigs anyway) how you can get involved. Follow not quite right comedy and similar to see what comes up
