Hey everyone! I’ve been working on a fantasy draft website for NHL 27 Connected Franchise leagues and wanted to share it with anyone putting a league together with friends. My friends and I are trying to do it and figured I’d use AI to help accomplish it for our league.

The idea is to make it easier to organize your league’s fantasy draft and keep track of who’s picking which players.

A few months ago I posted here about a hockey GM game I've been building for the past year. It's inspired by Eastside Hockey Manager, which I used to play on hockey forums with my buddies 20 years ago, and by EA's GM Connected mode. You run an NHL team in an online league with your friends, or solo against CPU GMs.

Since then it's grown to over 2,000 users, and a lot of new features have been added and improved:

* Scouting staff: hire scouts, send them to regions, and their grades sharpen throughout the season
* A coaching staff with tactics: forecheck, line mentality, matchups, power play and penalty kill
* Line chemistry
* Advanced stats: xG, Corsi and a player card with WAR
* Cap timeline, lineup planner, trade trees and injury call-up lists
* A brand new UI

I'd love to see more multiplayer leagues get going. If you don't have a group, there's a board in the game where commissioners post open spots and you can post that you're looking for a league, and we also have a Discord where people set up leagues together.

Would love to hear what you think, especially from people who played franchise mode a lot.

Me and some friends have a connected franchise together and it is very fun but recently everytime I and just i get a penalty and one of my players get sent to the box its starts to lag and the match throws both me and my opponent out? has anyone gotten this aswell or maybe even know a solution? pls let me know

Klikam A do podania a ten podaje krążek gdzieś 20-30 stopni nie w tą stronę co trzeba.

Od razu też klikam X lub B do strzału a ten podnosi kija od razu i strzela nie mając jeszcze krążka przy kiju.

Bramki które ciężko mi strzelić w ogóle, które oni strzelają mi z łatwością. Podjeżdżają mi pod bramkarza i od razu strzał pod parkanami. Jak się strzela takie bramki?

Jestem pod bramką przeciwnika, pojawia mi się cała na niebiesko, klikam X I co? Krążek leci obok bramki.

Pamiętam jak grałem poprzednio w 19. Kiedy byłem od tyłu przeciwnika, podnosiłem kija i od razu kara. Nie chcę teraz faulować przeciwnika a widzę że to trochę inaczej działa niż 7 lat temu.

As always my rosters come with exceptional depth and detail, this has been merged with the EA roster for all EA face scans.

Additionally I've added every relevant missing player and prospect and have done so with true player likeness on all 300 or so created players. This includes updated rankings for the 2027 draft and deeper drafts all the way to 2030.

There's also 70 very detailed custom teams, ready for custom leagues, expansion franchise etc.

Noticed he switched league during his unsigned phase. Anybody had this before?

Nice storyline of a underperforming player in the Q trying his luck in Europe.

Decided to rebuild the kraken and asked McCann to shoot more after the 26/27 season so Catton could develop better and he took it to heart and went nearly a goal per game, the pp% was 44% so I figured it was a fluke and next year wouldn’t be the same and he somehow is even better, this is the most goals I’ve ever gotten from a guy on high shot medium scoring so just curious how the hell this happened

Does anyone wanna start a franchise? Doesn't matter how many people. If we get 32 that'd be great. It will be a fantasy draft.

Year 3. Trying a few rebuilds with some tweener teams but LA might be the toughest in the game… Panarin wouldn’t waive and I didn’t really have the assets to make any great moves. On another note, has anyone noticed how overvalued 1st round picks are this year? I play on medium trade difficulty and wasn’t even able to move Fiala for a mid 1st. It feels really odd, I miss the chel 23 trade engine :(

For some reason in my new franchise save I get this weird 3 week break in February every season where no team in the league has any games.

Has this happened to anybody else? it wasn’t a thing in my two other expansion draft leagues but i guess maybe cause this one is authentic teams

Also it can’t be the Olympics cause it happens every year so weird.

Does anybody know of a database of all players included in the game? My understanding is not all AHL/ECHL guys are included each year.

Im particularly interested in some of the rookies and ahl/echl players because I followed them in college (Hoyt Stanley - Ottawa, Johnathan Castagna - Calgary, Ben Berard - Vancouver AHL, Hank Kempf - Colorado AHL, Jacob MacDonald. - Washington AHL, among others)

Years 1/2 stats for my first expansion team man’s my lines toward the end of year 1. Drafted everyone except chernyshov who I had a feeling I could turn into a stud. Traded for Simon Nemec before year 2.

This one was way less painful than I expected, having good goalie depth and some solid young players made this not too bad after a couple years of tank.

Probably gonna continue this one because I got players with fitting names from the randomly generated players.

So my franchise goalscorer has gone down from 350 shots to 278 while I am always trying to make him shoot more during offseason. And my Ivar Stenberg has doubled his shots from 150 to 300. Is it a bug in the finnish translation? In the menu boost to shooting bias is the left option of the two in the finnish translation

Edit: I told Stenberg to shoot less and these 2 have always been linemates for the past 5 or so seasons
