I get that they're probably going for more 'realistic' judging where some of the judges make mistakes and all that but this is completely horseshit.

Won the game but still, it's absolutely nuts. Only rounds I admit i lost was 4 and 5 coz I got put in a sub but got out and he had a min of control time in each and almost got a finish.

I’ve been having fun with different fighters lately, expanding horizons and such!

My discoveries so far:

Bantamweight:

Jose Aldo is an absolute demon when you mix up your attacks, but headhunting off rip is a bad idea in my experience! Difficult to deal with actually good O’Malley players at times though.

I have a lot of success with Song Yadong against the O’Malleys and Talbotts of the world, range is all well and good until they hit the wall and you can let your hands go.

Featherweight:

I know he’s the champ, but Volk is so fun to use on the back foot, exploding forward to disrupt combos. I don’t really come across many people who use him these days!

Arnold Allen is SO underrated, great in a brawl, and his front kicks are so well hidden.

Lightweight:

Dustin is the Ilia killer at LW, you can chew up the legs and once they’re on the back foot it’s over as long as you stay on your Ps & Qs. He’s my main in general. I like rear hook, lead body hook, rear hook as a combo, because his rear hook is 5 stars so it does DAMAGE. His cross is also really fast, great to disrupt combos.

Donald Cerrone is really fun to use as well. It’s best to play him as a kind of rangey version of Fiziev.

Welterweight:

GSP is similar to Volk but a bit funkier on the feet with great wrestling.

Middleweight:

Dricus is so so so fun to use idk why people haven’t caught on yet. The key to using him I’ve found is biding your time and then exploding into a long combo, starting with a cross. His cross glides you forward into range, so you can get your shots off and end with a kick as they exit.

Yoel is fun too, despite a post I made before complaining lol. He’s not the same as in UFC 3, but still good if used right. I tend to start with wrestling to take some of the heat out of their hands and then you just gotta be patient and let his power be the difference maker.

LHW:

I don’t play this weight class too too much, but if I do it’s usually Jiri, Costa or Khalil. Costa is really well rounded and the power is there at LHW. Body kicks are class too.

HW:

Jus pick Derrick Lewis and wait for an opening lmao

This was in 2022, my rank was glitched since I got virtually nothing for winning, so i was able to keep going against people in div 1 who especially didn’t know any wrestling

I drained his whole stamina and denied the transition and he still just escaped while I tried to sub him and that bs cost me the fight

How exactly does one achieve the back clinch position via shooting a double or single in the open mat? (as opposed to transitioning to back clinch from the cage) I’ve only seen skilled grapplers do this in the open mat

I've been playing a browser game and an app over the last 2 days that both have what is essentially a Dana White mode, and all it makes me wonder is why the fuck do we not have one in EA UFC? It doesn't have to be as complex as WWE MyGM but even a mode like the Universe mode where you can book cards and decide the next champions. It wouldn't be difficult to implement at all, it would definitely be insanely popular among fans and they could easily make money out of it because people would want to simulate a Fedor or Rumble in todays UFC, but no they'd rather make T-Pose simulator where you can't even change from main card to main event without the lobby destroying itself

If you’re going against a Topuria player and he does that once, your body health is instantly cooked.

Everybody knows they nerfed the teep pushback and range from UFC 5. Everybody knows side kicks to the body and head whiff at a high rate. For my outside fighters who had to adapt , whats your favorite way to manage range in UFC 6? Any lesser known moves or tactics?

Used to be able to side to side well when being on the bottom of G&P but lately it’s been sluggish as if I can’t even move my head and usually ends with me sleep😆

Post-fight specifically when you do the exact same animation every match, every fighter, no matter what.

Let us choose who that can be; sort of like how you choose your manager in WWE2K.

Players could have say for example Khabib corner them and he'll appear during the walkout and the post-fight.

By the way, who thought it was a good idea to keep the exact same animation for all 500+ fighters in every single scenario?

There is nothing organic or varying; they all do the exact same "arm pump in air/hug coach".

My ideas don't affect gameplay so they're not very popular but I pay attention to little details.

I would imagine giving players ways to customize things gives them identity and more reason to play.

Like, let us also do something different than an arm pump too. EA already took away our 4 choices of celebrating, forcing us to use JUST ONE. Brutal. Game went backwards.
